- 👋🏻 Hey guys! In today's video, I explain how to find arbitrage bets or arbitrage opportunities. This utilises the arbitrage betting strategy that I explained in another of my videos. There are multiple methods to find arbitrage bets - these are manual searching in the right markets, creating synthetic arbitrage bets which is what I teach in my course and using odds scraping software or arbitrage software to detect arbitrage bet opportunities.

I just want to make sure I fully understand everything... so for your example, if the Denver Nuggets win the NBA you win 1000 dollars but you "pay out" 880 dollars of your Betfair balance in "liability", meaning you're overall profit is around 20 dollars but if the Denver Nuggers DON'T win the NBA, you gain 980 dollars but lose your 100 dollar stake on the bookies website? So the outcome you HOPE for is usually your Exchange bet to come in even though the odds/returns are higher with the bookies?
For Canadians, there are no Exchanges yet only bookmakers (we've only been able to bet on single sports events legally for just under 2 years now; so exchanges are coming. STX has been approved in Ontario but they are only at Beta testing in the USA so far...)

Is using a non widely used currency another obstacle that one should consider? Due to exchange rates etc
Arbitrage betting is NOT risk free. All bookmakers have an 'E&OE' clause, which is errors and ommissions excepted which basically means if they misprice a market they can canel all bets on that market. So you put in your back and lay bet, bookie cancels your back bet then you are in possible liability.
@@light_amaka Not true at all if you were doing arbitrage obviously you would cover all possible results....
This is very rare in Australia & in fact one popular Oz bookie does the exact opposite & sometimes gives justice refunds where they could simply keep many losing bets due to injury or protest outcomes
The goodwill keeps people gambling & most people lose eventually due to their own poor decisions....
The same Oz platform will often publicly state they suffered a single event major loss because they know this gives hope to punters that they can beat the bookies!

Ah that sux & if it's a thing in the UK then only a matter of time before it is implemented in Oz!!! Although maybe there are enough terrible & luckless punters in Oz that bookies don't want to put regular Joe's off depositing & losing money regularly?
It's quite hilarious to me when I see people hating on bookmakers, because yes they make money from losers however governments allow & regulate gambling which doesn't make it right to take advantage of simpletons. However like almost everything in life buyer & participant beware, read the fine print, observe & learn from the experience of others, look for patterns, look for value, look for traps & be patient & thankful rather than hasty & greedy
People don't have to gamble.... People don't have to take crappy odds, there's plenty of other things to do with time & money & many other legitimate ways to make money, it's just that most of them are rigged in favour of old money, old networks & those in the know, so not easy for ordinary people to break into & out of 9-5 full time grind or worse.....

How do you, Shane, get around all your bans & restrictions😂... I've seen so many bookmakers with high odds having the most terrible of reviews... Now I can't trust bookmakers and I can't trust reviews... So is it still risk free betting if i have to risk my money on bookmakers i can't trust 🤣💔

I find it difficult to imagine how you could earn $50,000 in a year if your arbitrage percentages are as low as they are in this video, especially given that you started with $200, isn't that right?
Most of this "quick money" arbitrage traders use finance managers like Mary Elizabeth Huxley to manage and grow their portfolios , then sell you courses here . But also Making 5% back every time with a $200 start. You would need 113 successful bets to go to $52k. if my maths is correct

I just feel lost. So if I’m betting on win-draw-win, how much should I be betting to guarantee a profit? So let’s say I bet $100 on each, I basically lose money each time a team with less that 3-1 odds wins? Like how am I supposed to guarantee a profit?
Bet for 2.0 and up odds when you see the opportunity on the same match on bith teams

Some sportbooks have 3x rollover requirements on a deposit you make. That's make things very complicated since you have to move money from one to another after a few bets. How to deal with the rollover requirements ?
It's often 1 or 2 rollovers on bonus bet winnings in Oz but rarely anything other than 1 single rollover on cash deposits in Australia,
also you must read T&Cs because usually bonus winnings rollover odds must be $1.50 or higher - whereas cash deposit rollover is not odds restricted
A good approach could be to ARB with AFL or Tennis multi or whatever sport you are most knowledgeable with & can find "overs" & ARB opportunities - be careful with soccer as draw is quite common so I avoid soccer bets
Most Oz bookies allow me to withdraw after single rollover of cash deposit & this is not odds restricted & in fact when I place a bet & my selection is scratched or not accepted in final field they consider that a rollover & I can withdraw without any further bets
Personally I withdraw winnings at the end of each event day & start fresh in excel before further deposits & bets - I know the rollover rules & you should read T&Cs before looking for appropriate ARB opportunities
Personally I would not use a bookie that demands 2 or 3 rollovers on deposits..... Find another!

.. If you're getting really low arbitrage percentages like in this video I can't realistically see how you made 50k in a year, especially since you started from $200 right?
my guess is that it's exponential. You might make 5% from every bet, which doesn't seem like much if you put 100$ in. But over time the 5% add up and turn into more and more. Imagine what just 1 bet a day with a 5% return would make over a year.

Well said! that was exactly my mindset when I saw him plugging in $200 or so only to make like 0.80 cent to $1.20 in profits! 😂😂. That with his course link summed it all up for me. Let me abide by the old sayin "Never give up the day job"
The 2nd way is the best tho, it's harder to catch you and it makes sure money not that much tho

I use Australia software called wagerwise, the software finds positives of super high ev, I just find the same market on a bookie like 365 and back the other team to make an arb

Hey Shane, soo if the software shows a arbitrage tell me how quick do sharp Bookmaker change the odds, i was on oddspedia and for instance Megapari changes their odds soo fast that i cant even do arbitrage bets.
Some Oz bookies are adjusting odds based on breaking news & updates, however many bookies in Oz are still sloppy & lag 12 hours to 3 days! Sooooo good!!!
arbitrages < 1% typically last long enough for you to place the bet. Any higher and its unlikely you find the bet on each bookmaker in time. Do be careful with 5%+ arbitrages - errors this large usually come from pricing inefficiencies, and the bookmaker may just cancel all bets on that end - they can legally do this. If you placed it, then went to sleep thinking all was risk free, you may wake up to one refunded bet, and one lost bet, which based on the ends of the bet, can be a massive loss (i.e. $300 refunded, $700 lost, when the 300 was supposed to yield $730 profit)
Using synthetic arbitrage, you can get an opportunity only once, right ? Or somehow create multiple accounts ?
Theres a lot of them you can create with just 1 account.
I used to have Oddsjam, but unfortunately i had to cancel my subscription. I got banned or severly limited in 7 Sportsbooks so that left me with only a limited number of Sportsbooks, But that was still working out Ok, i was still making $$$ with the platform. And then one day i noticed i wasn't getting odds to my main Sportsbook that i was using. I brought it to their attention, they told me they were working on it, almost 1 month later the issue wasn't resolved on 2 Sportsbooks , so i had to cancel my subscription. They did refund me no problem. Pay attention, They will never let you know that So and So site is down, If i wouldn't of noticed i would still be paying for service that only fullfills partly its obligations.

Have to do mock bets so your win % isnt 100%
@@TeemoForLife I was doing Arbitrage, +EV betting, Middle betting. Some sites made a couple hundred, and some sites i lost $$$ and still got banned! The one site where i made Thousands i didn't get banned but Oddsjam couldn't get the data anymore so i had to cancel my Subscription. 1 site i was able to only place 3 UFC MMA fights and got banned! They Have software, They know what we're up to! Some sites obviously don't care ???
That is so stupid. I use a website similar to oddsjam but for russian/asian part of the world. They give you information on what sportsbook is working or not.

some games are fixed and it has a legal base to my knowledge. clubs are affiliates of betting gambling network. Ypu would never know which games are fixed on the weekly programme.

You dont pay taxes up to a certain amount of your single winning bet. Bookies cover the taxes until xxx amount (or Maybe more) . Some i think cover the taxes no matter the amount
