The Invincible was a lovely lorry to drive, I always reckoned if they had set the cab and the roof a little higher and modernized the cab it would have been a winner again, personal view.

Greetings from USA (Virginia more pecisely). I was researching the Matchbox toy Guy Warrior Car Transporter and Google took me to your video. Algorithms can lead to unexpected forks in the road. A great video. Matchbox collecting exposed me to all sorts of European vehicles i wouldn't othewise recognize. Among the trucks (lorries) are Guy Warrior, AEC, Leyland, Bedford, Albion, Foden, DAF, Mercedes Unimog, Scammell. Your personality translates very well through the camera and even makes tractors interesting. 😊 i hope to eventually view all of your videos,

When I was 19 back in 74 I worked for Cook & Richardson Agri Contractors and in summer emptied slurry lagoons using an old ex army 4wd bull nose Austin tanker. Not having an hgv licence I used to be towed with a series2 swb landrover, but had wagon running as if got to any incline, I had to give it a helping hand up it... great fun.😉

😂 just the thought of dragging 32 ton up windy hill gives me the heeby jeebies. No! My dad drove a Guy Warrior for North Lincs Haulage, Scunthorpe back in the day. It was an articulated unit with Cummins engine. I’ve no idea what the difference is either. They did 8 wheeler invincibles and 8 wheeler warriors, same with the artics too. Invincibles and warriors where the same lorries with different badges or was they? Perhaps the Invincibles had Gardner’s in them and the Warriors had Cummins in them….who knows. Thanks anyway for getting back to me Richard. Oh! Have you still got your Skippy?
