Timelapse of Future Technology 2 (Sci-Fi Documentary)

- This timelapse of future technology begins with 2 Starships, launched to resupply the International Space Station. But how far into the future do you want to go?
Tesla Bots will be sent to work on the Moon, and A.I. chat bots will guide people into dreams that they can control (lucid dreams). And what happens when humanity forms a deeper understanding of dark energy, worm holes, and black holes. What type of new technologies could this advanced knowledge develop? Could SpaceX launch 100 Artificial Intelligence Starships, spread across our Solar System and beyond into Interstellar space, working together to form a cosmic internet, creating the Encyclopedia of the Galaxy. Could Einstein’s equations lead to technologies in teleportation, and laboratory grown black holes.
Other topics covered in this sci-fi documentary video include: the building of super projects made possible by advancing fusion energy, the possibilities of brain chips, new age space technology and spacecraft such as a hover bike developed for the Moon in 2050, Mars colonization, and technology predictions based on black holes, biotechnology, and when will humanity become a Kardashev Type 1, and then Type 2 Civilization.

New Project: This is something I've wanted to start for a number of years, creating an Encyclopedia of the Future. A collection of entries, defining future technology in the areas of space habitation, space engineering, biotechnology, cyber society, A.I. robotics, regenerative medicine, and much more.
The first volume contains 31 entries with illustrations. It is a large ongoing project, with additional volumes to be published that will complete the final Encyclopedia.

9:15 I think you underestimate the speed, money and enthusiasm of anti-aging companies and their billionaire sponsors. There is no way we'll reach LEV by 2065. More like 2035 (or even 2030). To quote one anti-aging scientists "People figured out that it's not a win to be the richest resident in the cemetery."
What about returning people from the past back to life? That's a project worthy of humanity.
Wow, however you imagine these things, i was thinking that you should write a proper scifi series based on these videos and inspirations, especially this video. This video can be a summary of the whole series as in the tech and expectations etc. Each season can immerse us into a few years of progress and we have stories and characters within those years, driving the progress. Take a cue from what is happening today, expand and use that as base of the story telling. This can span over 20 seasons if done right. 😊
I love watching sci-fi for the very content you put in these videos and the only missing thing here is characters and stories attached to the imagination. I clapped my hands when I got to astroid sculpting 😂, this is new to me and this could really really leave viewers in awe if attached to stories.
it's gonna be more dystopian

Great show on the mechanics of the physical universe development! Couple of notes I am aware of: 1) TOTALLY MISSED is the decoupling of the Human Spirit from the Human Body - spirits that can work and communicate on a scale way above robots 2)A robot that can be smart enough to allow the human spirit to run it, much like ourselves (mainly unrecognized) run a human body today. Imagine your boss being a spirit run robot. Watch for a robot coming off the factory that is way smarter than the rest of the ordinary robots 3) I did time dilation myself way back in 1990 - wanted to go to lunch so I sped up the team to complete the drill. Proven by stopwatch 4) Love the floating city idea
Just keeping an eye on all the technological advancements we have collectively made in the past 12 months has been insane. The thing is, I KNOW this is all happening fast and I'm STILL blown away by how fast the progression is occurring. 2020-2030 is moving fast. 2030-2040 is going to make the last decade look like it was standing still.
You have ET technology to thank for this! We’ve been reverse-engineering Alien technology since the early 1950’s! All of our advancements in science are due to this technology!

Love the ideas and most of them seem plausible. But the timescale however... "robots outnumber humans by 2038"? 14 years from now... In that time, maybe we will have landed on the moon. Maybe.
In theory it could be correct, though i doubt it. It depends what one define as a robot. But i agree, the scaling is completely off, and there are some inconsistencies.
A valid point. AI industrial robot arms and tools e.g. might be used much more extensively in the next decades. But for the self-aware walking robots, I remain a bit pessimistic. We're close, but not that close.

I think when they say robot it means machine with some kind of AI in them it could be your TV or oven as well. They need not necessarily be humanoids.
Also, everyone knows fusion power is coming in 20 years, not 15 !
Crazy how plausible these things really are.
The next 2 decades will be very interesting.

ive noticed everything that was once considered crazy or science fiction is actively coming to reality slowly but surely. Things we seen in movies that seem like a joke are starting to happen right now and its insane.

...that is if we don't get too busy with politics and war and stuff like that.
I was transported to the future in 1968 by three events: 2001: A Space Odyssey. My hair was blown back 56 years ago, and it still is. Everything I saw in that movie was unfolding in my young life. Apollo marked the beginning. That same year, I visited Disneyland for the first time. Disney had just unveiled the new Tomorrowland. I was touching the future! I was an eight-year-old boy, feeling a connection to the past as well. My grandmother resided with us. Born in 1900, a time that felt eons away to me! I vividly recall her tales from her childhood, painting a picture of life when she was my age. Horses, buggies? The first light bulbs in town, illuminating a world that had been shrouded in darkness, now lit by a kerosene lamp? By 1976, my grandma had witnessed so much, hinting at what the future might hold for me when I reached her age. At 68, as all this unfolded for me, the perennial conversation persisted-what will tomorrow bring? If you're out of the loop, such shows will become the punchlines of jokes two decades hence. Think it’s an exaggeration? Explore online; predictions for every decade abound. Are they foolish? No, they're amusing. Hovering behind all our future forecasts are expressions of our aspirations, regrets, and the fervent wish that humanity has another chance to rectify past mistakes, learn from them, and move forward, doing what humanity excels at: striving.
You know what excites me? Advances in healthcare. My father passed away from a heart attack in 1966 at 54. When I was 41, I too had a heart attack. It happened during a routine doctor's visit when my blood pressure sky-rocketed, promptly stabilized within half an hour. I was swiftly put on medications for blood pressure and off-the-charts cholesterol levels. Surgery was necessary to address the cholesterol buildup, requiring a stent to repair the affected aorta. The striking fact is, I was discharged the day after my heart attack. How many ways might I have perished before my 65th birthday had I been celebrating it in 1965? Adolescents of today would likely find my childhood harsh; what thrilled me during my youth would amuse them now. Let me mention a couple to provoke gasps of horror. Unless your father was affluent, you did what we did: scored an invite from neighbors to watch color TV at their place. Only a select few 10-year-olds owned a phone, probably those from wealthy families or with a housekeeper. Now, let's clarify what was meant by "your phone." It was an extension-a phone that mimicked the one in the kitchen, since that's where most families kept their phones. Each extension was just another handset linked to the main phone. Yep. Crafty folks (siblings or nosy moms)- remember, all phones had cords, and kids like us became masters at stretching that curly cord on the receiver until the call crackled because we stretched it way too far. Privacy on calls was never assured. I'll spare you the details of my $5-week allowance at age 10. Most of my pals got only a dollar. Alright, I'll cease, but come around 2064, you might be having a similar chat. Let's speculate on the progress to come in the future we might share, as long as I remain on this earth, in whatever state. Perhaps we'll meet, discuss the past and the future over coffee or lunch. Just bear in mind, if we meet, I'm skipping out on the bill. Until that day, I bid you nano-nano. Find a fifty-year-old to explain that reference.
i will have that coffee with you, we can discuss how to harvest dark energy...in 2095 ? you choose the place😅

Do you realize how crazy things are right now? Do you know how many satellites we have orbiting our planet? There is so much going on that you clearly have no clue about. I don't mean to be rude. But everyone is always so pessimistic or just think we can't do anything at all. Yet, they usually know nothing of what's going on in the world of science or tech.
so great, as you narrate the images of how that would look are so realistic 👌
Humans don’t have a great track record of predicting future tech
Hence why it's speculation. A thought experiment. 😂
Future starts NOW
AI in the next 3 years will change almost everything I think we are taking a big 50 plus year leap into the future faster than we expected
i wont be surprise if it will be more than hundred year leap in techs already before 2030 due to ai (but im also sure that we can,t even start build stuffs that ai draw/writing becaus it's too advanced for us..ours tools gonna be primitive to do it

Stuff like this is the only reason I’d want immortality, I wanna see how far we can go.
Oh well, I guess if there really is an afterlife I’ll be able to keep tabs on humanity’s progress.
Same here, I got depressed watching this knowing ill be long dead before any or this becomes a reality.
I highly doubt it. If there's an afterlife I'm not giving 2 shits about back down here! Maybe to see my kid and that's about it. We will be able to do all these things just by our will or how ever it'll work on the other side.
Will
The afterlive won't start before the world ending, then it will like reading the history 😅😅.
Of course, if you go to the hell you wouldn't really car about humanity, using your life in researching about the real religion will be a smart plan
Maybe you already have and the life you think now is actually a time altered inmind simulation while your real body is travelling between galaxies whilst in cryogenic sleep...
very nice crafted AI content I can say very high quality and and real genuine effort I liked your content I appreciated thank you.
Every generation experiences some type of technological "miracle", but the progress is occurring geometrically. I was able to witness genetic manipulation, the microchip and home computers, space exploration, and the internet and instant telecommunications. The desire to witness even more is tempting, but the knowledge overload and cultural disorientation becomes distressing. A single life can tolerate only so much change. Soon changes will occur faster than our ability to adapt.
Exactly, that's why we need AGI and superintelligence to handle all that , we will only be spoon-fed on the pros of all the advancements, and who know maybe we alter ourselves to be able to withstand all the changes. , but this is all ofcourse extremely unlikely, not even sure
space and speculations about it is the best selling subjects nowadays.

The thought of immortality - or even extended life - of humans is terrifying. Facist dictators would live forever and make us normal citizens into slaves. Death is a fabulous tried and tested mechanism for preventing this.
Not if you obtain the knowledge yourself. If you're young, it's entirely possible. Think big. Death is a problem meant to be solved.

10:17 wow, that's crazy. Imagine uploading all your memories to a chip in your brain, then being able to not only view those memories at will, but selectively remove, edit, or completely replace them if you feel the need. I feel like I've seen a movie about this. Perhaps it was a black mirror episode.
It’s more scifi than a real possibility of a foreseeable future. The timescale is too short for so many changes.
Yeah that tends to happen with speculation. That's all this is.
I don't care if all this can actually happen-- considering human nature, it probably won't--but it's great to see something about the future that's upbeat and positive.

Black hole technology is sound especially the compression. It may work they way our nerves do with receptors for finding the common link and unpacking the data. But that's a good application for storing massive amounts of data
Can humans overcome ignorance and prejudice?
Nope. We will always be afraid of the different and unfamiliar.
Eventually but not anytime soon.
Can humans overcome unrealistic ideologies? As long as politicians insist on imaginary injustices and divisiveness, then civilization will not advance. The world will continue its decline into chaos and conflict.
If we humans can overcome that , than simply we are not humans
Do we?

There's something amazing about the control and certainty of this timeline, ie. The idea that we could have save points for our mind/body, but as with all things, the easier and more abundant a thing is, the less it is appreciated and valued.
okay, one thing i have to criticise is the lacking understanding on how science works (not saying its not understood, obviously this has to be optimistic, so it could be a stylistic choice.)
Our understanding of dark energy, dark matter and and worm holes wont progress that much till 2033. There are currently no Theories, that suggest any easy way to experimantally proof any of this concepts, even if there would be new theories being published tomorrow, you would need more than 10 years to build the machines needed for such experiments, and the experiments would than still have to be conducted

I just don't see humanity moving this fast
Analyse this past 20 years , how much we’ve involved in technology
@@swapnildawar6426 Check the last 150 years we've moved 20 years forward.
For example
1900 Tesla designed wireless power
In 1920s Porsche designed the electric cars
In 1930s we designed 300 mph cars
Few world wars stunted mankinds technical advancement.
The last world war took 70 years out the picture.
Do the same thing again 4 time and you'll get your 20 years advancement
If todays news is anything to go by we're about to stunt the Star Trek program by 70 years.
We can move that far that fast
But you're correct we'll destroy it all with WAR.
That's what we've been doing since 1800.
Every 80 years we have to reset
which then throws us back 70 years

At the moment we’ll be lucky if we make it to 2030.
Beautiful dream! However your predictions remind me of a British TV programme, Tomorrow's World, which made predictions on technological developments a few decades' in the future. Unfortunately, on most things they were quite wrong. I think for long range predictions we need to clean up what we are as a species, otherwise the future will be punctuated mainly by major and minor wars and development will be better and better weapons.
I have to live long enough to see some of this ❤❤❤
I think I must have missed the part where we no longer have homelessness, racism, or any of the problems we are currently dealing with ❤

We protect our universe 😁😇😂
Limitless free energy will help with a lot of that. People get along better when they don't have to worry about food, shelter and energy needs. Much better starting point at least; it will foster a more agreeable state of mind.
Remember as people evolve there should not be people with problem's like that. Homelessness will be resolved. People have control of their lives. Just don't be helpless. Do something.

Very impressive but extremely optimistic. There's no way that we'll be able to engineer weather and climate by 2038. I think that we'll achieve such control after reaching type 1 on Kardashev scale.

Just a few months ago, I would have believed most of these predictions, some of which could even come sooner, as AIs are evolving exponentially in frightening ways. But now I don't believe in anything anymore. I converted to Catholicism, I learned from the lives of the saints, their miracles and prophecies. I learned a lot from the Apparitions of Our Lady (Fátima, Lourdes, Akita, etc.) and their warnings and alerts. Humanity is sunk in many sins and heresies. God's punishments are near, including the 3 days of darkness. A lot will happen soon, wars, natural disasters, pestilence and worse. Study the life of Saint Padre Pio to learn more. Humanity is very dazzled by its current technology, but none of this can compare with the Power of God and the punishments that are close, very close...
