My gran was born in 1906. She told me a story about 3 young men in her town who would walk out of their home as "spirits" I now see she meant "Astral" project. They would go out and cause mischief. No one could see them. They accidentally started a fire, and I can imagine, that they stopped after that happened. Now, my gran, had no formal education. I was the only one apparently, as I have asked a few relatives, that she told this story to. I know there is a reason for that. A cautionary tale? Why is it that some little old woman, from southern Europe, knew about this. She was a physical healer though, and I can imagine, she knew more about me than I to this date, even know.
@cmauro7912 There's no formal education around spiritual practices and modalities like Astral projection. Anyone can do it with some discipline and practice. Maybe she just figured it out herself and learned how to do it. She is as able as anyone else, don't need to be a monk, sage or shaman to do these things
I astral projected for a brief period about three months ago. I had accidentally twisted my spine and I felt myself leave my body. Funny thing was it felt more real than the physical reality and there was this strange familiarity to it as if I've done this before. I've also had having vivid dreams like being a crystal ball of energy feeling absolute joy and wonder also dreaming about alien spaceships and everything was so clear and the bliss felt as though I were really there.
Thanks for sharing. You probably were really there. From my understanding, our consciousness variously exists in other dimensions. When you tap into these foreign realms of information, you're not 'going' there like you're on vacation. You're tapping into a deeper part of your consciousness that is already there which is why it feels so familiar.

One person said he saw alligator snail like looking demons and I'm thinking oh shit that could probably give me brain damage. I wish there was a way to completely avoid scary dimensions.
@@tebohosefatsa8280 As with reality, duality exists in the astral planes too. Anywhere duality exists, darkness exists. Spiritual practice is like putting on HD glasses. You will see more beauty, but you will also see more shit. Spiritual practice is not about avoiding the darkness, because you can't. It's about learning how to navigate it.
Well that's the thing. Someone who's an atheist will believe every experience is physical, regardless how profound they are. There's no bridging that gap until you experience it yourself and can make that call from experience rather than assumption.
