purdue has almost double the free throw attempts as their opponents this season. How tf is that possible? I'm so glad the entire world had a chance to see how one sided purdue games can be. It's even sweeter that Wisconsin found a way to win with literally everything going against them including the refs.

Damn this was a fun game. First I thought Wisconsin was going to to what Wisconsin usually does. Play tough in this spot and come up short, but they finally did the reverse. Before the conference tournament I have them as a 7 or 8 seed in the NCAAs. When they made it to this game I had them on the 6 or 7 line. Now that they won I have them on the 5 or 6 line and if they win tomorrow I'll have them on the 4 or 5 line. Incredible.

They were going to be a 6th seed at best if they didn't make noise in the conference tournament. Right where they belong. Marquette is probably locked in as a 3 seed.

He trucked Wahl, which was clearly a charge. He clearly fouled Wahl again on the other side of the floor when Wahl ripped through. Refs are scared to get edey in foul trouble, yet the opposing teams front court has to completely foul out every game. This is true for any team that Purdue plays against, not just this one for Wisconsin. The integrity of the game is trash, and in this game Wisconsin had to overcome absurdity after absurdity.
Man, i watched the end of this game and there were some calls that were just ATROCIOUS! I couldn't even believe my eyes on a couple of those. The Badgers got hosed on a few calls there at the end, i dunno if the whole game was like that or not.

Edey is a fine and talented player, but he needs to work on the glaring, gloating and smirking stare-downs at the defenders who rough him up a bit. They sort of got wiped off his face at the end of this one.

Painter proved again why he folds in March. End of regulation he puts Edey on the inbounder and left nobody to defend the paint. Wisconsin gets the tying layup. 36 seconds left in OT, he calls his last TO when there was zero reason to and that costs him as he could have used it at the end to set up a play. Dude is a certified choker.
Problem with Purdue is they don’t have that extra gear for march. They play 5th gear all year and dominate the regular season but can’t step up when it counts.
Braden smith is a baller but loyer isn’t going to cut it as our 2 man.
Can’t wait for Colvin, Harris, Catchings and Cox to get on this team, we need some dawgs for tournament time

Everyone from Wisconsin was dropping back after Wisconsin went up by 1. Why is the Purdue guard getting the ball that close the baseline with 4.8 seconds to play? They could've gotten a much better look closer to the basket instead of throwing up a prayer from 30 feet from the basket.

Edey went to school to improve on his game, but nothing changed except his age. He still got no athletic ability. How does a 7'4" guy play on ball defense by simply raising his hands up? He still has horrible footwork, which leads to off-balance shots. One would think a guy 300lbs would be a little stable playing against 6'6" guys. Too slow on both sides, no reliable post move, and lastly, he is too nice.
He is going pro-ok, but as a two-way player at best.

Is there a metric of conference performance? Not just # of teams in Sweet 16, but if a certain seed, did that team reach their expected spot in the tourney? Like if a #4 seed, did they reach Sweet 16 or underperform or overperfom? Assign a numerical value and the past 5 years, there is no way any conference other than the big ten is worse. It looks like that will happen again this year.

There is no defensive 3 second call in college. That is an NBA rule.

Men's NCAA basketball 😂😂😂😂😂 What a joke! They have no great teams anymore. Their so called top seeded teams or top ranked teams lose to bad seeded teams and unranked teams on a regular basis. It is the only college sport in D1, Men's and Women's that have their so called top teams lose so much. Men's D1 basketball in the USA is such a joke currently and no wonder the NBA has been looking for basketball talent, in Europe, Africa and even Asia in recent years. We have no Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Shaq etc in recent years. The current best USA players in the NBA are getting older with only foreign players to eventually replace them. USA basketball currently sucks as we are seeing in D1 men's basketball with bad, unranked teams beating so called ranked teams and top seeded teams fairly often. It is a joke! Even D1 Women's basketball is getting more popular because Fox Sport's network and Fox regular channel reported higher average Viewership ratings for the women's games than the men's gsmes during the regular season. I guess more people like myself are seeing that men's D1 basketball currently sucks. I will be watching much more of the Women's March Madness in 2024 because atleast I see more talent and actually see their top level teams not play so poorly and choke.
This is an NBA problem....the culture and the way they play the game now. College ball has nothing to do with how terrible and hard it is to watch the NBA.
