There's nobody to pick you up if you decide to think of yourself as a victim. Whether you're Christian or not, the message of Carrying your damn cross is true. You will have pain, difficulty, and hardest of all, malevolence. People will hurt you on purpose. The correct thing to do is to pickup your suffering and carry your cross and become something in spite of that. Personal responsibility. Sovereignty of the individual. Ask any LGBTQ activist if they will call you Sir, call a cop "officer" or Kavanaugh "justice" That instantly drops their charade that it isn't about "being polite". They don't use polite language. their whole lifestyle is a middle finger to society, and then they get upset if society isn't "polite"? Politeness is not law.
