I think the situation with the mitb cash in happened that way because there’s no way that Cody isn’t losing the championship anytime soon. And Gunther is especially not losing when he gets the championship. Plus the story with punk and seth gets reignited along with the story with drew getting pushed.
Yeah it’s a tough situation WWE is put in. Realistically, the only person that I can see dethroning Cody are The Rock or Roman Reigns. So even if Carmelo won like I was thinking he would, no way would he beat Cody
