I know the feeling brother. Being a two time felon hit super different when you trying to find a job. Went to over 70 interviews and was hired for some then fired after my background check came back. Was so frustrating but I refused to go back to the streets. I’ve been steadily employed since 2013 and I never would’ve been able to have the job without the grace and mercy from my lord and savior. I’m forever grateful. For those reading this and going through the same struggles I did, keep your head up and do not fall back into the street life. It’s a lose lose situation. Blessings

I don’t know what your going threw but I feel you. This episode hit me too. I’ve been out here looking for work and nobody is giving me a chance even though I have a lot of experience.. but I remember a few things and I hope this helps you.. I use to be a fighter and there’s 2 things I tell people as well as myself. 1 is a quote from rocky, I’m not going to say it all but you can look it up to read the whole thing. But it goes “The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward.”

She used to always tell me grandson come sit with ya grandma sometimes. Like telling me I don’t have to ask for money just to come see her that haunts me to this day. She passed away in 2012 n her last words was telling me she love me before getting that call in the morning. I miss you granny you never forgotten

It wasn’t easy but my job offered overtime and worked my ass off until everything was handled.
