I remember listening to this song with my dog the night before he passed away. He had severe internal cancer, and could barely walk, so I drove him through our local park late at night and listened to this song. We drove slowly throughout, windows rolled down, the smell of fresh dew setting on the grass. I’ll always remember this song as that night.
I'm going through that now, wondering when the last minute is the last.

Hazlett, you have literally become my favourite artist. I listen to ALL your songs every single day at work and at home
Last month, I lost my house and everything surrounding it due to arsen fire. The damage is so bad that it may be impossible to rebuilt everything. My best childhood memories, all the good times with my family, gone in two days. The firefighters didn't even bother to save it, corruption where I was born is that bad. I couldn't take it anymore, so I left my homeland. Didn't even look back. This songs explains what I'm feeling right now so well; the subtle guilt of leaving your place, the hate and anger, the memories that you still carry within...thank you for this beautiful song♥

Another good song add to the rotation! Very interesting imagery -- to me it sort of paints a picture of the uncertainty/anxiety associated with setting off from, and then eventual return to, home. Returning back to where you grew up after some years have passed -- A feeling of nostalgia combined with an acute awareness of how time always marches forward.
