He's like a giant handling a lady with very much care, except it is Cody Cepeda handling his skateboard with precision. Sick part!!!! definitely mind blowing
As someone who us currently filming a video part, every single pro video part is seen in a new light for me.. one reason being that there is so many things going through your head while filming. With the spots, your filmer, your tricks.. HUGE props to Cody for putting out an incredible video part
I agree. Not everything needs to be all about big bangers. Vast majority of regular people who skate don’t attempt that stuff anyway. So it’s nice every once in a while to see a pro be the same
I think for Cody all this part has done for him is changed his reputation from the flatground kid to the ledge kid, it's not the part he needed to blow up in skating. It was just all the tricks were to similar but he still absolutely killed it on what he did
Cody Cepeda was my favorite of the PUSH skaters, and the part started off super strong with that sick hardflip and I'm so glad he got that nighttime manual amidst all the kickouts. Sadly I was super disappointed as I was waiting for Cody's part the most, and here it is, unfinished... I don't feel like it had an ender, didn't feel very conclusive.
Hes so good that it almost masks the fact he didnt hit a single gap or set, if he worked on his set skills he would be way more popular right now. SUPER GOOD THOUGH and SUPER TECH SKATING. Stylish Aaron Kyro.
Could he have hit some more diverse stuff? Yah maybe, but that doesn't change the fact that what he did was sick, technical, and difficult. People don't complain when Curren Caples only hits banks and pools. I'm sure in the next couple years he'll expand his skill set/get wise to the fact that some rails, stairs, banks etc. might make his parts more interesting, but at the end of the day this was still pretty damn good.
Everyone hating and criticizing cody aint got shit on him in reality. Maybe a few of you at best, but who cares what he skates. there are tons of "tech" only skaters. He did some nuts tricks really clean.
+Bludcharg4214 Lmao, I'm 22 years old. I was just saying some of Aaron's manuals are insane. Damn can't even make a fucking statement without someone freaking out. Lol and you said Aaron is trash? Yeah he's pushing skateboarding and doing what he loves, and you.... Well your just talking shit
damn there's a lot of whiny kids in the comments section... he had limited time and stuck to what he does best. his part would absolutely be better if he threw in a few tricks down some big rails or stairs but with the time he had this was sick. hopefully this fired him up for his next part and he'll have more time on it. the next part from him should be about 80% of him progressing on what we saw here and 20% bigger shit to quiet the haters. even if it's 100% tech though im still looking forward to it, just hope it's on someone elses dime and he's given more time so he can really push himself.
@@amath_ I know I follow him on IG but he moved back to his hometown and probably is not 100% on skating right now like compare his skating from 2017-2018 to now not even close. At a pro leve you need skate constantly or you loose pretty big portion of your skill. It happened to many due to injury finances etc.
I have no problem with the dudes skating, his spot choices, music, or whatever. I think my biggest qualm is that 1) it looks so easy to him that it isn't a wow factor anymore, and thats honestly the viewers fault more than anything. Its the same thing with Nyjah, nothing is hard for the dude, so I'm not excited for him anymore. Granted this shit is hard in concept, and i bet wasn't first try 2) his style is so chill and relax, and not that clean, so the level of difficulty of his tricks don't actually look good. I remember a Dylan Rieder interview where he said it doesn't matter if little Billy can do a switch lazer slip if it doesn't look good. what is more exciting, a frontside flip on flat, or a front side flip over 5 or 6 decks while landing on bolts. Cody Cepeda is now in the new generation of skaters where the thing to do is ledge/manual tricks and doing every single flip trick. That skating is not for me, but its a lie to say that it is easy. Yeah there are a bunch and up and comers that are killing it on stairs and rails and pop, but i hope the trend starts shifting towards style and how good the trick looks. A sloppy ass trick will always pail in comparison to one done clean, its not raising the bar of difficulty of the stylish good looking tricks
Damn, he wasn't kidding when he said no stairs or rails. If you are going to be a street skater, you have to mix those things in because they are a huge part of skating street.
most likely all that mountain dew money. the money they spend on these skaters is pennies to what Pepsi co actually makes. I looked it up and pepsi spends around 1 billion a year on advertising alone
he did so many hard tricks but nothing stood out. aside from the nollie inward heel back noseblunt. Dude didn't even attempt to step out of his comfort zone
He's like a giant handling a lady with very much care, except it is Cody Cepeda handling his skateboard with precision. Sick part!!!! definitely mind blowing
How does one go to a spot and say
"I wanna nollie inward heel back noseblunt this"?
Such a good part

i love watching these early in the morning. it inspires me to get up and go skate! shout out to the berrics
It feels good to watch a video thats no handrails or gaps
Briley Neyenhuis maybe dont watch it do it
@@Notactive454 inspiring

nollie inward heel to nose blunt that was pretty cool
+Fgarfio01 could be Nine Club? :D
12:48 for part
Jaws part is gonna be the complete opposite of this
I think his personality and determination is what has me sold more than his skating
I think for Cody all this part has done for him is changed his reputation from the flatground kid to the ledge kid, it's not the part he needed to blow up in skating. It was just all the tricks were to similar but he still absolutely killed it on what he did
excelent video part, insane tricks, good work Cody Cepeda, you are magic
Glad to see a young guy making it happen for himself. Thanks for the video, Berrics team.
For a first part this is sick, tonnes of potential. In a few years i can imagine him doing bigger stuff at more creative spots, give him time!
That was really good to watch loads of tech and different tricks hope Cody can keep making parts and developing skateboarding.
Cody,
You are a true inspiration and an amazing skateboarder. Such a smooth style!
such a sick video, i thought he was just a double flip king after BATB7 but his manny and ledge game is soooo real. hope to see more from Cody soon
it just looks like hes having so much fun when he skates yo! love his style of skateboarding
THE EDIT... GOD DAMNNNN GOD DAMNNNN. The music sync with the lands and pops, I MEAN DAMNNN
This was a truly amazing video

Cody... Awesome & chill dude
Sweet part and digging Alabama Shakes!
Must be so much fun to skate like that.
love watching these videos of dudes making it in skating....something i will never get to experience
With that attitude
BeyondTheAges yeah, with that attitude you won't
That ender was insaaaannnne
So many people are going to hate on his part.
How is this not a sick part to you people???

Can I please have the name of the song?
I would like to see a lil more big stuff but it was dope i give him that
I want another Cody Cepeda part plZzzzzzzz
Does anyone know how tall Cody is?
Alabama Shakes - Dunes Is the song :)
+Hyperiiz thanks a lot! In my opinion the song is equaly important as the tricks
+Alex dos Santos yep, but only if the song is good though. Haha
+Hyperiiz read my mind
Not one stair set? Still a very good video
Hes so good that it almost masks the fact he didnt hit a single gap or set, if he worked on his set skills he would be way more popular right now. SUPER GOOD THOUGH and SUPER TECH SKATING. Stylish Aaron Kyro.
Music during the part?
anyone know the name of the dc top cody is wearing from 5:44?
very cool part i think showed everything he said he loved/grew up skating pretty tech that blunt heelflip i think geeeZ

fucking great part Cody !!!!!
any one know where I can get the t shirt cody is wearing at 5:44?
Great story. loved the video. -R
this was a sick part. Lord knows I'm not tech for shit lol. looking forward to your next part.👍
crazy!
Everyone hating and criticizing cody aint got shit on him in reality. Maybe a few of you at best, but who cares what he skates. there are tons of "tech" only skaters. He did some nuts tricks really clean.
He sounds like paul walker.. He's pretty humble like him too.
Skater Paul Walker
Seems like evryone is loving The Albama Shakes for their parts, great music, great skating
Where's the stairs and hand rails?
He's sort of like a much better version of Aaron Kyro, like they skate the same shit
I still think Aaron Kyro has better manuals
+Eli Weaver Aaron Kyro is nothing compared to Cody dude. Aaron barely learnt Laser flip and Cody did it switch out of a switch manual.
Minh Trí Nguyễn Ngọc I agree aaron is trash but a bunch of little kids think he's like the best skater ever
Bludcharg4214 Yeah Ikr hahaha and they even defend him, stupid kids need to watch more skate videos.
12:48 is when the part starts
13:07 tory pudwell approves
That arms ahaha
Who's that guy with Cody when the security was there (not the filmer)
the manual revert is a monster
no skateboarding here but i can drive my car here
no rails or stairs?
Loved it
awesome
sick skating but not a single hubba or hand rail? That said dude has unreal board control!
Style counts
damn there's a lot of whiny kids in the comments section... he had limited time and stuck to what he does best. his part would absolutely be better if he threw in a few tricks down some big rails or stairs but with the time he had this was sick. hopefully this fired him up for his next part and he'll have more time on it.

I thought he just good at flatgorund when i watched his BATB , now , my mind has changed a lot ....
Wasn't this part uploaded already?
On the berrics
music??????????
for those who think he cant skate rails, check his berrics woodward bangin
Does anybody know the reason he not skating like he used to recently? Just curious.
he posts ig clips

that ender might have been the craziest ledge trick ive ever seen
then you havnt seen crazy ledge tricks
i guess not
If Cody quits skating he can always be the shooting guard for the lakers lol.
This was pretty good. Not the kind of skating i'm into but overall this is great.
12:48 for the part
sou a favor do the berrics colocar o nome das músicas ; assim não da ;-;

nice story im starting to like you a lot xD
1:49 he actually reading script 😂😂
Btw, nice one cody!
Is this a part or just literally just a part of his life ?
Damn, he wasn't kidding when he said no stairs or rails. If you are going to be a street skater, you have to mix those things in because they are a huge part of skating street.
You probably shouldn't judge any skater especially if you can't back it up with your own skills
That's like saying you're not allowed to dislike a movie unless you can make a better one.
Who pays for their rent when they go on trips? Always wondered. Do the sponsors pay for their housing?
most likely all that mountain dew money. the money they spend on these skaters is pennies to what Pepsi co actually makes. I looked it up and pepsi spends around 1 billion a year on advertising alone
Fuckk yeaah cody!
Super tech but he should try at least some hubbas and small rails or his parts will be boring to watch.
Nice
still better than any arron kyro street part. hahaha.
Good ass song!
he did so many hard tricks but nothing stood out. aside from the nollie inward heel back noseblunt. Dude didn't even attempt to step out of his comfort zone
