You're great Timo Tolkki!!! You're the best !!!! Stratovarius is you!!! The other elements doesn't mean nothing without you!!! Don't listen what people say , you will be always the best for me !!! Always in my heart, because when you play the guitar everything is Magic!!! You're great TIMO!!!!!!!!
The production on this album is horrible. Which is nuts since Timo's production has always been amazing dating back to the 90's. The drums are just awful. Clearly he fell off at some point during this.
I've been keeping my thoughts to myself since this album released in hopes that one day I would hear it differently, but sadly my mind is unchanged. This album is FAR from perfect. I would dare to even say awful... I was so happy with how The Land Of New Hope felt and sounded (...although I still think Timo should have gotten an actual bass player to avoid the one note bass tracks) and figured it was safe to assume that this one would be just as great. Boy was I wrong. The guitar sounds like it was recorded through a phone, the drums sound like a drum machine, the bass is incredibly boring again, and I feel like he told Simone, Floor, and Elize NOT to sing their best to avoid drawing attention away from him. The vocals on Rise Of The 4th Reich really did it for me though....
This album was dreadful. Mixing sucked and sounded dull. Land of new hope was way better. Return to Eden made up for this as it was nicer sounding so thankfully this was just a slip up from Timo.
Yeah. Timo said he was going through some ”manic” times while mixing this album. I don’t really believe that. I think he just lost the touch and went lazy. I’ve been told that when one is manic, he comes up with the wildest of ideas. I don’t think that coming up with a poor mixing is a wild idea. More like being depressed.

Land of New Hope was much, much better creation of Timo's!
