Way to go Bob! Just because you have devoted so much for others doesn't mean you need to deprive yourself of your own joy. Enjoy and thank you for everything you do. Bring us some great videos from the back country!
You gave 100% of your last four years for millions of us to realize this is the life we wanted and yearned for. Don’t ever apologize. We all change. Our bodies change. You deserve this all!!!
It absolutely saddens me that you've been made to feel you have to justify where the money came from for these new additions to your already humble lifestyle. I think it's absolutely wonderful you're taking time and toys to enjoy your life. Many beautiful blessings to you, Cody, and all of HOWA! While I make no delusions that you're a perfect man, nobody is, I can't imagine you as a money hungry asshole that takes more than gives. The assholes are the ones who leave comments trying to make you feel that way. I'm grateful to you and all of HOWA for all you do! ♡♡♡
AMEN. I am close to Bob's age, I see a time where I will be changing from human power to more mechanical, and the mechanical I use today changing. Why exactly is there shame in it?
Bob, you don't have to apologize for living your life and having and doing what makes you happy. Thanks for your efforts and sharing it on your channel!
"Tell me if you think I'm wrong." Oh my heavens, how could anyone feel that way. I'm 86 years old, have camped a lot but never got to be a nomad due to family needs. You have allowed me to live vicariously the life I dreamed of. Thankfully, as said, I did get to do a lot of travels and camping. You have been and continue to be an inspiration. You have given FAR, FAR, FAR, FAR more than you have taken. Hope you have a blast with your new toy. It looks great. I surely look forward to your videos from the back country. Makes me so happy not only for you but also for those of us who will receive the gift of those videos. Bless you, Bob. Have a WONDERFUL TIME.
If anyone is thinking ugly thoughts about you . ....... they're not worth ANY of your energy Dear Bob ! I believe MOST of us are THRILLED for you ! ❤ I love you !
YOU GO BOB! Do whatever makes Bob joyful 😃……..you’ve earned it! You have evolved! Thanks so much Bob for helping me get through those last 7 years of slaving in corporate America! So happy for you BOB! You do so much to help other nomads. Work so hard bring us great video on TH-cam! I hope you enjoy 10 fold as much as we have all enjoyed your videos! That's awesome. Ride Safe and have fun!!!
Why on this earth should you not be compensated for your time. You've helped tons of people and many admire you. Enjoy your rewards, Bob. You've earned them.
Don't worry Bob, lots who put their focus on helping others eventually are able to reap the rewards. Congratulations and I'm happy that all the effort turned into a great retirement place with fun toys to enjoy! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯
Congratulations Bob, sometimes we just need a toy. Unfortunately my wife made me sell my motorcycle before we went full timing in our rv. Probably not an unreasonable request but I do miss it.

Congratulations Bob! You should never have to apologize for doing anything nice for yourself. If anyone deserves it it's you. Hope you enjoy every minute you send riding in it.
So in love with the first quote: "You don't have to be miserable to be a nomad". All who wander are not lost; that may be their preference. That said, if I catch you spinning donuts in the back country, I'll understand and mind my own beeswax. Happy Trails, Bob!
Congratulations on your success Bob, i know how much those actually cost. You have moved a long way from the simplicity and basic lifestyle you started and celebrated this channel with.
Yea, Bob!!! Love this! Love that You Are HAPPY and Having FUN!!! Always Do What is Right for You!!! You have given So Much! Love you are doing what is RIGHT for You And ENJOYING Life!
I was kind of blown away when you first posted this on your short TH-cam channel to be honest, but listening to what you have said here makes plenty of sense. Thank you for changing my life for the better. Love you Bob!

Bob, I completely understand. I have mobility issues and keep wondering how I could possibly live a Nomadic life, when I can barely walk. You've given me an answer. Very happy for you.
Not even 3 minutes in and I had to stop and comment. What a breath of fresh air, someone who has common sense and has respect for people around them! Made my day!
You ABSOLUTELY deserve to live your life to the absolute fullest. I’m 22 years old and your videos/book literally changed my life the last few months and I’m so grateful I stumbled upon your book on Amazon. I just bought a 1997 E-150 and it’s my very first step to this new lifestyle and i couldn’t be more excited. You deserve 20 UTV’s Bob. Anyone who says otherwise is envious. People make millions off TH-cam for playing video games, and you’ve literally saved peoples lives. Enjoy yourself!!!
Bob I’m so happy for you. For as long as I have watched your channel I have taken away the message from you to enjoy life to the best we could no matter how little we had. We know you give up a lot of your privacy to teach us , and I and so many do appreciate all you do. Taking care of your body by using the UTV is a good thing. Enjoy life !! 😎🥰
For one, I think it's important that as we get older we do what we have to do to keep enjoying our lives. I went from a tent to a van/ teardrop. Second, it's your life, your time on this earth, do what you want as long as it doesn't harm others. Be kind. And yeah, don't be an asshole.😅 As for what others think.... really who cares, that's their problem not yours. Enjoy your life in your way❣️
I don't see how anyone can say you are "in it for the money" Bob. Someone like you who makes a great deal of money but still lives in a frugal way is the real deal in my opinion. Of course you should get a UTV if that is what you want. I can only imagine what beautiful places you will see and share with your viewers. You do you Bob, you are an inspiration to so many.
You have done so much for others. You are always an inspiration. Going to places most of us can’t get to and taking and sharing pictures is giving back to us too. The years pass fast. Enjoy your life now!
🤣@your death video, I’m simply happy for you, I love toys as well. I personally don’t believe you owe anyone an explanation or an apology for your purchase. You’ve worked for what you have and you should be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I feel sorry for those who would criticize or judge, they are missing out on so much in life. Go forth and enjoy your new toy Bob 🤗
Congratulations Bob. I am happy for you that you got an ATV. It will be nice for Cody to ride in, he will get used to it and love it too, as long as you take it easy. You might purchase or have a friend make you a seat cover for Cody that way his claws won’t punch a hole into the vinyl seats or scratch them up, and they won’t be as hot or slippery. An ATV helps by letting you explore places you never would on foot. It brakes up the everyday monotony and puts some more adventure into your life. If you don’t have already, get you a tire repair kit, a tire air pump, some duct or electrical tape, a spark plug wrench, and any small size socket wrench set to help if you get stranded and a spare spark plug. Remember, oil changes, coolant, and a clean air filter is the life of the engine. An inline gas filter helps too, buy you a spare gas filter that fits your ATV too. I hope you have a blast and the time of your life. Happy Trails Partner. 👍🙏😎✌️
Congratulations Bob I'm very happy for you I too was an avid backpacker and also have the need to be way out In the middle of nowhere for peace and Serenity. when I when I was nearing the age of 60 I fell off a roof and broke just about everything in my hips tail bone et cetera but my recovery which took 6 months was amazing and miraculous but the one thing that I cannot do is carry a heavy backpack I remember when I bought my 1st snowmobile And my friends were quite astonished because I had hated them for so long Because of the noise and some human behaviors which were intolerable to me but it gave me so much freedom and joy to get out into the wilderness in the Winter time And that freedom and that need to be one with nature without the human element is such a need I think we both have. I now live and travel out of Arizona so no need for a snowmobile anymore smile My Van is all wheel drive and I do get out as far as I can too a much needed happy place. I'm glad you are continuing to grow and finding your happy place best wishes!
Congrats Bob you deserve to be happy 😊 I'm doing the same I bought an old beater dirt bike fixer upper so I can get to the those spots also, getting older 😅 can see my self hiking 10mi. each way much any more, but I can still get thier and enjoy nature... glad I'm doing the same & you don't have to apologize anything ! Peace ☮
Bravo for you, you have helped so many people over the years when you didn't have a dime and I have followed you for many many years enjoy life. I don't live in the vehicle at this time but I have lived in vehicles and those are the happiest times of my life eventually I hope the return and you showed me how Bravo for you. Much love from Florida
Love you Bob!! We're not nomads but we do love to travel. All of us has to do what we think is BEST for us as long as we're not hurting anyone else. If only all humans were as kind and considerate as you. No one is perfect and that's ok :) just do your best and you certainly do that :)
Bob you’re a national treasure. Do what you need to do. To have the ability to use a machine like this to get you where you need to be. How wonderful. What a time to be alive. I had to ‘graduate’ from an ATV to a UTV with a steering wheel due to a shoulder injury. Do what you need for you.
Bob you deserve everything good! The countless people you have helped and inspired is beyond amazing. Because of you, so many people have risen to a better way of life for them. You have introduced me to a whole new world that I hope to explore part time once things calm down and I can find an affordable van. Blessings to you.....enjoy!!
Bob, if someone need to be happy and enjoy his life now ...it's YOU ! You don't owe any explanation to nobody. So happy for you !!! You are my mentor ❤️!!!
I think you definitely deserve this !! You’ve worked so very hard and have such a big heart sir. We are lucky to have a chance to see you and share with your future times in your pictures enjoying your well earned toys😊
Bob you absolutely deserve your new toy I'm 62 and recently purchased a 2021 Kawasaki KRX1000 and love it I've rode the world famous Hatfield McCoy trails in West Virginia many many times hope to see you when I'm out west this coming winter I'm going to the cabeloloco rv ranch to stay for a month or so thanks for you videos
Bob, you absolutely don't need to explain your new purchase.....YOU DESERVE IT! I'm so happy to see you enjoying yourself and how happy you are!! Enjoy those years!!
Looking forward to seeing those new videos of places we most likely won't be seeing in person. Since you don't boondock on public streets, etc the trailer with the ATV works perfectly with the lifestyle you are living. We all have the right to live life the way we want (as long as it doesn't negatively effect others.) Enjoy your new toy and be safe. (Get one of those satellite radios incase of an emergency in the remote wilderness.)
Aging just makes things harder to do and we have to adjust in every way we can to keep enjoying the lifestyle and things we love to do for as long as we can.
I absolutely agree with what you are wanting to do. I reluctantly purchased a UTV a few years ago and after I added a few accessories to enhance the experience, it has become a very pleasurable hobby. Hopefully I still have at least 10 years remaining, maybe not, but yes, we do deserve to enjoy what time remains. Drive safe!
Bob, Congratulations on doing something for yourself! I don’t think you owe anyone an explanation! Sorry to hear about your Mom. Alzheimer’s is a horrible disease for the person and the whole family. I stumbled on your channel a little over a year ago. I don’t even know why or how I found this channel because at the time I was not an Rver and it really wasn’t on my radar. That being said I have found so much value in the information you share. I also believe you are a genuine, knowledgeable, and sincerely kind man who is helping a lot of people. Since I found your channel and shared it with my husband it has changed us. In the past year we have downsized and we have bought a truck and fifth wheel. We are part timers for now and are still learning all we can as we move towards a more nomadic lifestyle when the time is right for us. Thank You and Keep on doing what your doing. Enjoy your new toy!
BOB I'm so very proud of you and appreciate you so very much. I've been a fan of yours for a long time! I could never thank you enough! Congratulations on your new toy! No one deserves it more! God's Continued Blessing On You! You've Surely Blessed Us! I look forward to meeting!
I Could not agree more. Joy in Nature. Get a job. Be responsible. Work. Be part of the system. Slowly lose your soul. Take care of those that are terminally ill. Set aside dreams. Finally learn to LIVE. Congratulations on your UTV. Very exciting! This is the best news I got all day. I smiled and nodded throughout the video. I am 62 and breaking free of the system within the year. Cody will come to love it. I will bet on it. ❤
We will enjoy your upcoming videos in the back country. Condolences to all who lost a nomad friend recently. Your role in Nomadland deserves a reward! Enjoy your outdoor adventures! You have given me peace of mind knowing the van life awaits me 🌈🧡
Hi Bob! I have been a subscriber of yours for years. You don't need to explain anything to us Bob. You certainly deserve your happiness. I'm sorry you lost your mom. I understand and I am so happy for you and cannot wait to watch your videos in the future! P.S. I have had 7 knee surgeries so my days of enjoying nature in person are over BUT thanks to you I can enjoy nature virtually!!
Bob, you give your heart & soul to everyone. You don't have to explain yourself. You absolutely deserve alone time, peace & adventure. Giving too much of yourself is how you get burnt out. We look forward to watching your new adventure videos.
Congratulations! I am happy to see your enthusiasm to get back out in the back country to enjoy yourself. Maybe in the future a project could be showing some of your nature photography! Be safe and have fun!
That is truly great Bob. As we get older sometimes we need a little more to help us have the ability to keep enjoying what we love. I have always heard you say to do what makes you happy and have the setup you need to enjoy the journey. At different times that means different things. The new set up you have is great. I look forward to seeing where it takes you.
I am very happy for you Bob and all the great work you do for others. Keep it up and get those backcountry videos coming to us to live vicariously through you
I am selling my business and liquidating everything I own to get out of society. I lived in Alaska for 4 years and they were the happiest years of my life. Time to get off grid again. I cannot wait to get as far from people as possible and explore nature full time. Nature is my home.
You go Bob! I'm 60 yrs old with a disabled husband and I can't get out in nature like we used to. I'd love to try the nomad life but I have not been dealt such a hand. Appreciate your blessings and don't let anyone rain on your parade.👍👏
I totally understand you getting the UTV. I'll be 67 in April and my back and knees are not what they used to be. Enjoy your UTV and your new adventures.
I love this video, Bob. I appreciate your candidness. I am 50 yrs old and finally taking a leap of faith and doing what I've always wanted to do. That is living an unconventional life while traveling. Gig to work a seasonal job at Lake Powell, AZ this summer. I realize that trying to start my life in my 60s after retiring (if I could even afford to retire) is ridiculous. I already have less energy now than I did in my 30s or 40s. Then I have a couple of friends in their 40s with medical issues (one is likely terminal). I don't want to wait any longer. And you have reassured me that the time is now when you state that at 66, you are ready to do less. Thank you for the inspiration.
AWESOME Bob ! I'd call that a "tool" to get you where you want to go & BE ! My JEEP WRANGLER was that for me ! Still wishing for another one ........maybe trailer a pop up camper to live in as a NOMAD !
Bob, you deserve ALL the “goodies”. This about this please: You are modeling healthy behavior for your community! You are showing us ways in which we can take better care of ourselves, which in turn helps us to care for others, if that is our choice. Bless you for being so attentive to the needs of Cody. He is my favorite. You are also my favorite. I am strongly in the camp of “I want to see Bob Wells thrive every time I see him.” Love you Kind Sir. ❤️ Susielicious
I'm in the same boat. Used to be an avid hiker but can't do it in my old age. My old man's wheel chair is very quiet, almost like hiking. My preference is a quad over a side by side because I'm out in the open rather than inside a box looking through a windshield.
I’ve only scrolled down a few comments and I don’t think I have anything different to add. Bob, I’m so happy for you and the excitement of your new toy! You totally deserve it. And it’s nobody’s business what you do with your money. You shouldn’t feel that you need to apologize. I think that is actually a very wise purchase for you. It’s something that will improve the quality of your life and help you continue to do the things you love to do. So…way to go! Good for you! And most importantly…you don’t need our approval. But we are grateful that you do share your life with all of us. Being a nomad is not a contest to see who can live more frugally and miserably. These are the years we have now and we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Live your best life today and ENJOY IT!!! :)
What a great story, I love it. Glad to hear you’re not going to be an asshole. It’s not the machine it’s the people. I love what you’re doing and yes I ride motorcycles three wheelers and quads, have not yet gone to a side-by-side, but as I get older, who knows.

I hope you have a blast and the time of your life. Happy Trails Partner. 👍🙏😎✌️
The more you buy the more videos we get to see of the new whatever, love your work!
Congrats Bob you deserve to be happy 😊
I'm doing the same I bought an old beater dirt bike fixer upper so I can get to the those spots also, getting older 😅 can see my self hiking 10mi. each way much any more, but I can still get thier and enjoy nature... glad I'm doing the same & you don't have to apologize anything ! Peace ☮
Bravo for you, you have helped so many people over the years when you didn't have a dime and I have followed you for many many years enjoy life. Yes yes he means so much to us with tears of joy I love seeing him happy
Love you Bob!! We're not nomads but we do love to travel. All of us has to do what we think is BEST for us as long as we're not hurting anyone else. If only all humans were as kind and considerate as you. No one is perfect and that's ok :) just do your best and you certainly do that :)
You have dedicated your whole life to all of us, so you deserve everything you want! Enjoy
Im looking forward to a new side of your vids im happy for you this just proves sometimes good things happen to good people
Bob you’re a national treasure.
Bob, if
someone need to be happy and enjoy his life now ...it's YOU ! You don't owe any explanation to nobody.

Thank you for all the content. Looking forward to the next 10 years Bob! Congrats on the new toy taking you to those places you want to be.
Me too
Aging just makes things harder to do and we have to adjust in every way we can to keep enjoying the lifestyle and things we love to do for as long as we can.
Bob, knowing how you love nature, I'm sure you'll do all you can to enjoy the new toy and be respectful of the nature you love.
You deserve everything ,finding your channel helped change my life!!!!!!thank you for everything an enjoy your new ride
Congratulations, Bob! Take some for yourself. You deserve it!🙌🏽🙌🏽😊
Bob, you deserve to have whatever you want. You have helped so many. Enjoy your toy. You don't owe anyone any explanation.
BOB
I'm so very proud of you and appreciate you so very much.
Don't worry bob enjoy your self with your atv I hope on day I can get a atv like you enjoy your self and congratulations on your new toy
Fantastic vehicle! Id love to get one further down the road. No doubt you’ll have as much fun as humanly possible in that UTV. 😊
You go Bob! I'm 60 yrs old with a disabled husband and I can't get out in nature like we used to. I'd love to try the nomad life but I have not been dealt such a hand. Appreciate your blessings and don't let anyone rain on your parade.👍👏
Good for you, Bob! I’m super happy for you and you totally deserve it. You are a model for preserving and improving mental health. Thank you.
I totally understand you getting the UTV. I'll be 67 in April and my back and knees are not what they used to be. Enjoy your UTV and your new adventures.
Love your new toy. I hope that you have a wonderful time with it. Stay safe and be Blessed.
Why would anyone begrudge you this simple pleasure in life 🙏🙏🙏
Bob, you deserve to be happy just like anybody else. It's really cool, hope to see you rolling in your new ride soon.
Right on !
This about this please:
You are modeling healthy behavior for your community!
Susielicious
I call my ATV my off-road wheelchair. I can't hike anymore either so I totally understand your logic.
Amen brother
I'm in the same boat. Used to be an avid hiker but can't do it in my old age. My old man's wheel chair is very quiet, almost like hiking. My preference is a quad over a side by side because I'm out in the open rather than inside a box looking through a windshield.
@@MrHugemoth I rock an ATV too. I like the openness as well.
That’s awesome Bob, enjoy!!
