This is the Fluttershy I always believed was lurking deep down, beneath the surface.
I loved this episode! It was so great to see Fluttershy so sure of herself, she's come such a long way and I'm so proud of her! As someone who has always been rather harsh on her, not lack of character development, because she still has some, I suppose slow progression with her character development is what I mean. But this episode has developed Fluttershy's character in a huge way by showing off all of the lessons that she has learnt through the seasons. This episode isn't really about Fluttershy learning anything but showing us, the viewers how much she's learnt through all of the seasons and I love it! This is definitely my second favorite Fluttershy episode, just love it! And I actually felt bad for Angel Bunny, I mean he wasn't being a jerk to Fluttershy in this episode and he looked to be in real pain Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

Yup, I expect to see this level of Fluttershy being sure of herself from now on, because we know that the writers can write Fluttershy well. Seeing Fluttershy nervous or shy every now and then would be okay, but as long as get most of Fluttershy being sure of herself would be great.

I really liked this Fluttershy episode! She and I share some common grounds when it comes to tending the the needs of animals that are helpless and can't take care of themselves(though she does a better job at that than me😋), as well as perusing a lifetime goal. The moral has sold me for this one too! Being a hard working artist myself, I know that it is very important to keep challenging yourself to reaching your goals no matter how hard it may seem most of the time and to not give up on those goals. In other words, this episode's moral has motivated me in a big way and I appreciate the writers for coming up with this story.
Yup this is definitely my second favorite Fluttershy episode. I can see some people finding it boring but this wasn't an episode where she learnt an episode, but an episode where she showcased all of the lessons that she had previously learned and I love it!

Yup definitely. She was my least favorite of the mane six until Flutter Brutter for her and Applejack's Day Off for Applejack came around I switched Applejack as my least favorite and Fluttershy as my fifth favorite. But, if they keep up Fluttershy's character development this season I might put Fluttershy up even higher.
I think my least favorite early on was Rainbow Dash. Her arrogance - although not too horrible like real life - annoyed me quite substantially. Now I like them all fairly evenly, all for different reasons. Rarity because we share a bit of fashion sense. Fluttershy for her love of animals. Pinkie because she's completely whack in the best way possible. Twilight because we're both bookish and nerdy. Applejack because she's honest and down-to-earth. Rainbow Dash because she's fun and high-spirited.
I love how determination she is in this episode. I love that Fluttershy.

I feel this episode is commentary on contractors who do what they are comfortable with not what you tell them to do.

In regards to Angel getting smacked.... well we'll always have the image of Twilight kicking him into a mud puddle at least.
Spike was there, you can see him holding a measuring stick into the lagoon Twilight and Starlight were filling.
As to the ep, will get more into later buuuuut... Agree and disagree. Yes as a Fluttershy ep this was simply phenomenal! It was a culmination of her journey to this point, a glowing testament to how far she has come, how much she has developed. This was everything amazing about Fluttershy wrapped up perfectly. Assertive when she needed to be, strong, sure, able to stand on her own and stand up for herself. Yet never mean, never cruel or jerkish about it. Firm but caring. Even when dressing down the contractors, it's laying out the factual wrongs with what they did, and the calmly telling them she does not need their services. She was still respectful to them as ponies, even while ripping apart their work as contractors.
However, and will make another post to avoid massive wall o' text, as a story overall..... it was very very weak. Definitely the weakest of the season. Good, but with a lot of issues with how it was constructed. The character aspects were, just SOOOOO damn good, but the storytelling.. not so much. Yet, it was amazing seeing you so enthused and overjoyed and just so "OMG this is AMAZING!" I enjoyed watching this SO much more with your reaction simply for the shear joy, and I can fully get why you love this story so much, looking at it primarily just for the Fluttershy aspect.. it really as the best showing of her ever.
I've been reading a lot of comments about how weak this episode is, and they're not entirely without merit. Still though, I honestly don't care. You don't always need to have a deep and thought-provoking moral issue or crisis to deal with. In fact, when focusing on that, things like character growth sometimes get overshadowed. I was absolutely thrilled to see Fluttershy put to use all the lessons she's learned over the past several years. I feel like she has finally blossomed into the pony she was always meant to be. Seeing somebody being able to come out of their shell like that and accomplish something so significant was truly a special treat. I am finding that I can relate to Fluttershy far more than I originally thought, so seeing her overcome her fears and self-confidence issues is rather inspiring for me.
Cathy weseluck did the voice of Dr fauna and now, Nicole Oliver(princess celestia, miss cheerilee) does the voice.
This episode basically taught us to listen our own opinion. For example , dont listen to the big corporation where they give scores to video games because they arent always true. In the end , you will be the one experiencing the stuff on your own.
I loved seeing Fluttershy grow so much, she is my fave pony afterall. ^^ Also when Angel was jumping about in the intro I was reminded of Assassin's Creed----and yeah I think koma caught up with his broke foot, but I just can't stand tears...also I think these "experts" are worse than that mare from Spice Up Your Life.
She only rejected what she didn't like, these 3 are flat out LAIRS and would SO be ruined forever if this ever got out. You just can't be trusted if you go behind someone's back and do exactly what they told you not to do. But overall this was a good Ep.^^ I reacted to it btw, and uncertain about the Eps airing twice an week while we're forced to either see them now or risk spoilers.
I STILL am mad that somebody, after S6's final aired early, posted the new Changelings on Twitter. Ugh, mother freaking annoying ya know...well at this rate Canada is gonna get S7' final 10 Eps before we get it...IF ONLY PEOPLE WOULD RESPECT NO SPOILERS! DX Aw well, I know to avoid Twitter now during a season!
P.S FINALLY! Somebody THOUGHT of Starlight! THANK-YOU! XD Why did it take this far into the show after S5 to do this? Has there been any Ep, at all, that mentioned or cameoed Starlight before this one?
Flutters has had a lot of character development this season
In the process of rewatching the episode:
When I first watched, I thought fluttershy was being very bratty and vague, and I was annoyed when other people couldn't see it, but now I feel like in various ways she was very clear about what she wanted and they all just completely disregarded her??? And like if Fluttershy wasn't a good pony you can bet that all of them would have lost clientele should she have decided to discuss their behavior with others.
This episode was so relaxing and heartwarming!

I love the bravery that Fluttershy has in this episode.
Good grief! Those three willingly did not do what their client wanted and still have an attitude problem. In the real world they would get sued and fined.
You know? As someone who works in an engineering office, I know how difficult it is to deal with a client with vague ideas, so I understand the workers too.
That's definitely one of her the best episodes. I give her that.
The way she described everything could've been confusing to ponies who aren't used to Fluttershy's way of thinking, but these experts definitely didn't try to listen. When I first watched the episode I kinda cringed at Fluttershy's use of terms like 'warm hug' to describe what she wanted. It reminded me a bit of my difficulty talking to my engineer of a brother-in-law. It's like we speak different languages.
This episode is exactly why Fluttershy is my favorite Pony.
Fluttershy didn't need a construction worker, wrangler or an interior designer. She just needed a landscaper!

Overall, this isn't my favourite episode of the season so far. But it's definitely great seeing how much Fluttershy has developed.

I really like this episode its not one of the best episodes of the season so far but its still good,.

For me, this is the definition of an "ok" chapter. Good enough to not being boring, or me not liking it, but not nearly good enough to make me remember it for something or even thinking of rewatching it.
