Tremendous first run! Pour like a pro.
I am getting ready for my first "poor man's" crucible pours.
I will get a forge, but probably propane for the versatility that the containers provided versus electric.
Really terrific video. Very calming teacher's voice.
    TY for sharing.

I heard about what happened to your last ToAuto on the MSJ livestream. Thanks for sharing about what happened to you. Glad you are ok. I will be pouring some copper soon.

Awesome first pour! Are you using the 3kg crucible or was that the 2kg you bought? I’ve found that using the 3kg is better than the 1kg it comes with because it gets hotter. When the top is not glowing red it likes to stick. The 1kg is very hard with silver. I assume the 2kg is a smaller diameter than the 3kg as well. It’s tough with the 3kg because it’s so long but it being wider makes it hotter. I’m still figuring out the TuAuto myself. I have heated up the end with a touch once but I’ve found if I don’t open the lid until I’m ready to pour the top is hotter. You did great on the first silver pour ever. Very nice job. It definitely takes some getting used to but you made that look like a pro. Keep working at it and you’ll be a pro in no time.

A little tip: the melting pot is too big, it's only really hot at the bottom and not at the top. That's bad for pouring because the metal cools down when pouring and can't tile properly
