    Managed to get 1:25 without the guide! I was braking too late on the T3.. thanks a lot, man! Really helpful!

    Thanks man. I love your videos. Always straight to the point. Your lap guides helped me on a lot of the tracks.
    Without "hello, subscribe, buy my hair product, click on a bell, ohh, and now, let's get to the video".

    These track guides are gold. Years after he posts, they are still the ACC bible as far as I'm concerned. Down to 1:22 from a 1:25 with the help of this video.

    I watch these and i’m always amazed at how early and how much throttle is used round corners. If i do it i end up seeing my ass overtake me!

      Same. I can't understand how they can have so much grip with the standard aggressive setup.

      i think its experience, i watched a track guide for monza , was in singleplayer hotlap mode doing 1:51s and now after playing a few races monza im at 1:49.1
      i did not even realized that iam able now to brake later and go earlier on the throttle

    • @matthewbyrd398
      @matthewbyrd398 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. I don’t get it, either. I can’t give much more that half throttle coming out of the Andretti hairpin almost all the way to the exit curb.

      @cynicalpenguin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@matthewbyrd398 If you decrease the steering angle then you can plant the throttle to rotate the car without the back end kicking out too much. Get yourself turned in enough before the apex then smash the throttle while you straighten up the wheel and the car will rotate and accelerate out of the corner. Don't half arse it though, you need enough throttle to induce power oversteer otherwise you are simply weighting the rear of the car and removing grip from the front tyres causing understeer, at least that's my perception of it.

    Greetings. Im not sure what I did wrong. I followed all your instructions but my car seems to be still upset :( He hasn't come out of his room for days, and he won't talk to me about his feelings.

    How are you able to get on the throttle so quickly?! I've downloaded some setups other TH-cam sim racers have posted with their hot laps at various tracks in ACC and I just can't seem to figure out how they're full throttle when they haven't even passed the apex or unwound the wheel. If I try to replicate it, I lose the rear or at the very least it gets a bit loose and I have to back out of the throttle. It seems like to go fast in ACC, you need to drive different than in the real world. You have to be on the throttle MUCH sooner. Any recommendations for those of us with this issue? What is the trick?

      @unleasheddrivers1281  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With the Aston martin, I'm not sure if its changed since I last drove it but tc1 on 1 and tc2 on 8 gives a bit of on throttle stability without losing any time, you also need to make sure the car is lined up nicely and you generally dont want to be turning too much while getting on throttle

    Why is the pressure equal to 0.0 for all the tyres in the bottom right ? Do you use a specific app to manage it ?

    I like what you're doing. But I think if you showed how your throttle and brakes work, your videos would do more good.

      The throttle (green) and brake (red) inputs are in the middle of the screen.
