I love that his instinct was just to run and protect the girls... I’m not surprised tho bc I think we all know that Jensen is a very protective father... but the sound of them hitting him was so loud and his grunt sounded painful :/ not just that... his first question is “are you okay?” Followed by “tell me where it hurts,” but you can hear both girls giggling... thx to him getting there in time... I would never want to be anyone liable for an ackles child lol
It does not surprise me. AT. ALL. That Jensen's knee jerk reaction was to get between his kid, kid's friend, a speeding sled, and a frozen solid mat wrapped fire hydrant. He always seemed liked a protective person, like over his friends, wife, fans. So for it to come between his kids and him, he would throw himself in front of a train for them. Without thinking, mind you. He has such a good character inside him. I wish to see that never change. I also love how Jared is laughing and acknowledging the story, cause he knows that's exactly what he would have done as well.
“I snapped into full *Dad mode* there and it was just like, throw--throw your body in front of a speeding train and save your children.” Such a great man and father this guy is.
*does a full flip after a hard hit, immediately lands and makes sure the girls are ok... without fail... “tell me what hurts” he is truly a GREAT father
This goes out to every dad out in the world. There really is a dad mode if your child is gonna hurt themselves you'll do anything to save them. Even if u end up hurt
Jensen is an awesome dad! A true superhero. It's actually comforting to see, well in our case, hear him be in dad mode. The part that made me crack up was the security guard putting his hand on his belt saying, "you're not packing are you Dean?" 😂
What a great dad. You saved your daughter from getting seriously hurt. Way to go. My daughter fell out a 2nd story window when she was two months away from 3 years old. Broke her hip fractured her skull and. I thought she will never be the same. It’s been 32 years, and she is ok. She has a few issues, but she is ok.
Doesn't surprise me one bit. You can just tell how much they love their littles. With how much they love their fans, I can't even imagine how they love their kiddos! Good Job, Jensen! (And @ omg the beard!!) Hehe
Just do the best you can. Your kids aren't going to turn out perfect but you gotta try your best. Don't get mad at them for sharing their feelings or talking about their issues, make your house an open place for emotions. Don't punish them too severely for small things and try to avoid yelling. Instead, work on what they can do better next time to avoid their mistake. You're going to be just fine dude.
That reminds me, when my dad hurt his knee to protect me. We were going down with our sleds, there was a small ditch at the end, we didn't stop properly...so my dad pushed my sled to the side and he went down into the ditch. I was 9, I think. After I helped him to get out of the ditch. I was scared for him. So the good dads are the best and we ❤️ them. 😁
As a dad, the list of things that I will do to make sure they’re all right is a very long one, and while I haven’t had to fling myself in front of a speeding sled(not a lot of that in Florida, it turns out), I would absolutely have done the same as Jensen did, because that’s what heroes do.
I've been a die hard SPN fan since 2015. I was 10 years too late to the party but I got to see all the seasons! When did you start becoming a die hard SPN fan? I'm 21 now and I love Jensen and his family.
I remember jumping into a river with really strong currents to save my nephew. I kept his head above the water and we made it down to the barbed wire and I inched myself along the wire until we made it to the bank and he got out of the water safely. I would fo it all over again to save any of my nephews and nieces without hesitation.
It was a touchdown I saw it lol....I went tubing yrs ago and a dog walked in front of the tubers....kids got derailed and the dog got up and walked away lol kids got owned
I'm watching youtube in the background, playing BDO, and the fishing mini game has you enter WASD keys in a random order, random amount. Right as Jensen says "I flew into Dad mode"... I caught a fish, and the random input was "DAD" So, weird. Some might even say... Supernatural....
When it involves the safety of someone else it's better to act than never to act at all just because you think you're going to go viral with something! Because the truth is there's always time to go viral but there's not that many chances that you get to save the life or change someone's life because you did something amazing that protected their life in some way so pat yourself on the back for that one and know that you're a good person for choosing full on Dad mode 👍
I'm a new fan of the actors (fan of the show for years though but never watched interviews before.) And I was shocked by Jensen's voice, it's awesome though
@@waywardwinchester oh you're so helpful and awesome inside - out! If I have questions I surely ask you because I feel like I know you and I can trust you. You are a very good person ❤️

I never knew my Dad because I was taken away from him, my mother, older brothers and sisters. I don't remember his face, or his voice, same thing with my mother and older brothers and sisters. Wish I knew more about my Dad and Mom.

Dean said it from the beginning, he loves kids! :)
@@waywardwinchester youre so right!!! 😃
It sounded like his daughter started crying hence he asked, "Tell me where it hurts."
I love how there wasn't an "Are you hurt." but a "Okay, tell me where it hurts." Straight dad mode Jensen. Salute bro.
Wow. That is a real father. We all knew Jensen was awesome, but that was just so beyond the expression.
Any good parent would do the same.
Many dads have saved their kids.
@@flyguy1827 yes... that's why they said that he was a real father.
I love the "oof. Tell me what hurts."
I know right?!?!?! 🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍
Is everyone just going to ignore the fact that Jared just predicted how many kids that Jensen would have!!
pretty sure this was after the twins were born as they are a little older then odette

Epic father moment there! Well done, Jesnen, knew you rock dude but that was without words awesome.
Good practice for Soldier Boy :D
I am just glad jensen isnt't one of those stupid parents who see their kid is about to get hurt and just keep filming 👍🏻
Too bad JJ's friend's mom wasn't filming from the top of the hill it would have been cool to see Jensen in action
BRO YES 🥺
Jensen Ackles risking his life for his children :
Me : *Insert personal family trauma joke*
lmao same!
Well no one can say you don't love your children Jensen Ackles way to go for the dad mode
Ouch, tell me what hurts. Dad part kicks in.
What a good dad you are Jensen!!!!

Well he did 15 years of SUPERNATURAL. All the fights were drilled into his head and the adrenaline got him going. Major hero
Great job daddy!!!! Such a "Dean moment" saving people, hunting things, the FAMILY business.
Someone's gotta starts petition to have Jensen teach us how to be a parent.
