For my, pain tendo never can be defeat by naruto if he's no destroy all konoha, it's clearly..but i think nagato was sick too and tags make for naruto de chance to put down tendo, i suppose nagato have got a friendly link with naruto and this can be the reason for him to don't catch the nine tails. Supposition so ^^
@@runarjohannessen826 For me, Tendo pain could never be defeated by Naruto. If he had not destroyed Konaha beforehand it's clear he would have had enough strength to defeat Naruto. Though I believe Nagato was still far to sick and gave Naruto a chance to put down Tendo Pain. I suppose as well that Naruto and Nagato had some from of link. Like a link of friendship or past family. This was the reason I believe he did not catch the 9-tails.
I can see that this would be used for Nagato and Konan son . But I have no clue if that would be cannon but he's the only person I can think of that can be a villain in the new naurto if they decide to go that route .
