If Connor would go back to being loose , bouncing on his toes throwing heel kicks etc instead of flat footed boxing style then Connor would be hard to figure out. The Floyd vs Connor boxing match ruined Connor in the UFC. Connor now fights flat footed looking for Ko instead of USING HIS MMA skills. Yea I know that’s Connor style being a striker but when he was on top of division he was loose with different angles
Money and drugs are what ruined McGregor. He wasted a huge chunk of his prime on proper 12 and his other business ventures, he spent huge periods of time inactive and so the game passed him by.
Conors prime officially came to an end the moment he snapped that shin bone like a pop-sickle stick. Since then hes been visibly checked out from fighting. Hes LARPing when he talks about his return, he has no confidence in his ability (Khabib took one half of his soul, Dustin took the other half), hes inebriated in like every public appearance that hes seen, and he pulled out over a broken pinkie toe!
Conor McGregor is done. Hopefully other fighters will treat Chandler like a cautionary tale and stop doing cringe callouts of Conor constantly.

I love how people pretend it was a doctor stoppage. Dustin was beating the brakes off McTapper. Him snapping his leg was not only a result of Dustin working the leg but also a blessing because this finish was going to be brutal. DC nailed it.
Edit: This was some of the realest talk about Conor and Dustin. Respect for these 2 for not glazing Conor and giving Dustin the spot he deserves in MMA commentary.

Dustin is 35 going on 36 this January. He’s fought 40 times professionally and who knows how many other times outside MMA. Max is the youngest among Justin, Dustin and Max. Dustin has been a professional since 2009. He has money and his family wants him to be available and it sounds like a great way to not have the sport retire you from some sort of permanent damage. Makes zero sense. Alex moved to 205 because 185 was a crazy weight cut. Think about it, he’s weigh 220 the day after. At 205 he’s at his best weight. He beats Ankalaev and is able to fight at heavyweight for a a belt and super fight for the UFC.

1st rounds are Conor's best rounds, Conor quickly turned into wrestler vs Poirier in the 1st round.

Alex Periera is in same boat as Connor, Izzy etc who can’t wrestle they have the ability to get the Ko and danger of getting Ko because they are worried about wrestling etc. When Alex fights a real wrestler style he’s in major trouble it will be similar to Connor vs Khabib fight. That’s all Alex knows most is kickboxing style . That style works for while until someone with elite wrestling comes along lol
