James Dean was as important to teens in 1960’s as Elvis was. He died too young and the three movies he made were to become cultish to those around being teens. Here we are 2024 and are still talking about him, just like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and Natalie Wood.
Had he not died *there* on that intersection, the rest of his drive was over a beautiful low mountain pass, from the Central Valley over towards Hwy 101.
Accidents like his, are so much in the "Fate" category!...I mean, just think about the time line...if he had not stopped to buy an apple, or if that cop had not given him a speeding ticket..then the actual moment of the accident would never have happened!..He would not have been in that scenario at all!...Life is so unpredictable. But we mere humans cannot know such things.
I think he really wanted to do the check on Mr Jekyll and Hyde because he himself was bipolar and that was his way of releasing that personality kind of going public with it why he was the way he was
There was never any such evidence of him being bipolar. For anyone to make up this about him is disrespectful to him and his memory. He would act certain ways and stay in character and do certain things for his acting, but that has nothing to do with being bipolar.
James Dean loved & had a passion for car racing. He became a great actor & very handsome. Unfortunately Jimmy only made 3 movies starring in, namely, "Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden & Giant" before his untimely death. R.I.P. Jimmy. You are surely missed. ❤😢
Every event, that day contributed to place him on that fatal spot, at that fatal time; the stop for gas, in LA; being pulled over for speeding; stopping at the roadside restaurant; otherwise, he'd have been long gone, and would've passed that intersection, before Don Turnupseed made that turn; sadly, it was his time to go
If you search long enough you can find a clear in-focus morgue photo of Jimmy on a gurney showing glass pieces still embedded in his beautiful face. He looks asleep peacefully.
