was wondering if the weather had over taking you no posts for awhile! everyone seems to be enjoying that coil,pretty much the same your HF Orx coil. I use one for my Whites it's a favorite as well...
I have great respect for you , down in your area this week and it was slim pickings, I tried the lg30 coil , I think it was too powerful for beach . It was reading the shovel. I had to keep it behind me at all times. I should have gotten the smaller coil like you have . Fort Myer and Marco island had very clean beach .. no trash pull tabs etc
I see your using 2 types of pointers, any one you prefer more than the other brand? I'm still doing research on MD & pointers, I think I'm leaning towards the Legend and Garret pointer
Both good, I used the Garrett for a long time but recently have been slightly preferring the XP MI-4. No significant different in performance in my opinion kind of just preference based.
For me it's mostly just the ground coverage and overall comfort.. I like the 6" coil too but in some cases there just aren't enough targets and I don't feel like I'm covering enough area to be efficient with it. The camera I've been using is the Gopro Hero 7 Black for a while, works pretty good!
I own the Simplex but I'm waiting for my tax return to purchase the Legend Pro pack. With the way the economy is going I'm going to use it to find Silver and Gold items to replace the US currency.🤷🏻♀️ Great hunt Austin
How do you like the legend compared to the simplex? I recently got the simplex and love it with the sp24 coil..and probably won't upgrade until I find enough stuff to pay for the simplex..great channel!
Simplex is still great... I like the Legend because you've got more options / sound settings to tinker around with if you feel like it. Both great detectors:)
@Treasure Outdoors awesome..yeah I love nokta products..so when I go to upgrade it will probably be the legend..I'm sure plenty of software updates are coming.
Haven't gotten to test it out too much at the beach yet, first impressions seem pretty decent out there! I might still stick with the stock coil for a little more ground coverage at the big beaches but the smaller coil is definitely noticeably lighter to swing out there.

I always make good change at the end of the slide. I think it falls out of kids pockets but also it's fun to roll coins down the slide.

I just got the legend and I don't care for the stock coil. I knew that was going to be a good coil based on the sp24 I have on the simplex.
Stock legend coil is a very good allrounder from my experience!
