I appreciated hearing this from Isaac, and I can honestly say I feel like he means it. I ran into him on the street once, outside of a venue. I was in grad school, and I had no idea they were playing because life outside of school was nonexistent from me, but the venue was across from my grocery store. I saw him walking, and I shouted his name - he turned around, and flashed me the brightest smile! I said I couldn't make it to the show, but I wanted to say hi - I'm a life-long fan, etc... He was so NICE! He gave me a hug, and when I asked if we could take a picture, he actually MOVED us because he said the lighting was bad. He had people waiting for him, and fans literally lined up around two blocks. And yet he still took the time to say hi to me and literally make a dream of mine come true. I have met plenty of artists I enjoy in my time, but none of them have made the kind of impression on me that Isaac Hanson did. I can't wait to see them next time they come to town!
Not to freak anyone out but I've been loyal because Hanson is one of the bands that keeps my suicidal thoughts at bay. With You In Your Dreams is the only song I can't listen to anymore but everything else makes me a little bit stronger. You guys epitomize the point of music, you entertain, you connect, you uplift, you do what you do to bring emotion, a sense of understanding and acceptance to people, you don't trade in who you are to make millions of dollars. You acknowledge and include your fans. Your shows are amazing, your talent is underrated but so perfect. Your passion is infectious and if we've been around for more than 20 years it's because you guys are doing something right. It's a beautiful give and take relationship that I wouldn't change for the world. So much for that phase I'll grow out of.
Fred savage whose a huge Hansen fan said their music helped him so much thru a lot of rough emotional times in his life which is interesting cuz I wasnt aware their music had that kind of impact on people.
My new favorite phrase, "In an mmmbop they're gone". These guys *_live_* that lyric every day, and they have since Day One, over a quarter of a century ago. Who does that today?
God sent angels to raised these guys. Their feelings, their music, their love for us, for life, for everything in their world. The way they live, they think, they love... and then... there's more... they're soooo sexy and handsome so... what else can I ask ???
Isaac wasn’t giving his best in Minneapolis in November. He came out after the show and was pretty grumpy. I asked for a picture with him (after waiting in the 30 degree weather for an hour) and he just seemed interested on getting into the bus. Taylor was more than happy to schmooze with fans though. I guess we all have our bad days. Catch ya next time Isaac! (And Zac who made it to the bus before I even got there but I had got a pic with him a year before)

Robin C. Same thing happened to me. I was waiting to see them at Wisconsin State Fair. Isaac was so kind. I just get teary-eyed thinking about it
