Great video! I had a similar experience with Fiocchi .410 heads separating and rims getting past the ejectors on my Citori. I had never experienced this with US cartridges. After comparing measurements of the rim diameter and thickness I found the Fiocchi's were .004-.005" smaller in diameter and a couple thousands thinner. I eventually made it through to 2k I'd purchased with the help of a simple tool. A piece of 3/8" brass rod cut to 3-4" long works wonders for the task and is easily carried in a pants pocket for quick access. Round the rod ends and drop it down the barrel. Stubborn ones may take a forceful shake but the brass won't hurt your barrel if it contacts it. I've not had to use it lately but it stays in shooting bag just in case.
Beautiful birds. Getting 22 (i believe thats your number for the day) is extremely difficult. Ive been going hunting with my dad since I was 4 or 5 (20 years of seeing the fields now) and, although we dont get driven partridges as such due to it being totally wild animals, it is always very harsh during rain days. Great video
Great Hunt, Video, Country Side and Shooting Sir. I live in the US 🇺🇸 and I would absolutely love to get in on a Hunt like that. Are those Wild Birds or Released. Not that it matters, those Birds were really flying well.
410 they do a good job but they do wound alot my grandads best mate shot a keeper at broadlands with one and even he lived to tell the tale! And that's a true story!
merhaba çok güzel atışlar olmuş 9 10 yaşlarında 36 tek kırmam vardı onunla yetiştim bu videyonu izleyince yine 36 tı ya merak saldım en kısa zamanda mağnüm yatağını alacağım kazasız belasız avlar diliyorum kal salıcakla
Entertaining but have experienced picking up too many wounded birds on sub-gauge 410 days,,,.. Yes I get the 410 challenge but not for me. on our driven game .
Cracking video mate and showing people how much of an underrated calibre the 410 is
Living the dream. Great video as always.

You could keep everyone happy and keep your eye out at the shop for a Slazenger 410 😂
Only in England would a man wear a necktie to hunt partridge. 😆
