For IBS, I didn't prepared for SCPM. For law and FR - I watched revision videos in TH-cam. AFM and Audit - only carried the modules. In last 1.5 days, I have only practiced ICAI case studies and gone through the index.
I have passed CA FINAL Group 1 in NOV 2022... Book purani ho gyi hai.. ?? Concepts bhi sahi se yaad nhi hai.. even if I revise everything... should I carry old books or need to purchase new books ?? ....as I dont know whether question from my old books are same present in New books...
I think FR ki old books chal jaengi but AFM and Audit mein kuchh chapters change hue hai toh u need to get new books for that. If you know anyone in your friend who cleared group 1 in May 24, you can ask them for the books, then no need to purchase new ones
Hello mam, I had registered for both groups of CA Final, however now I feel I am not prepared for group 1 and planning to give only group 2...is that allowed...can I give only group 2 andwill I be able to manage IBS without properly studying group 1? (Have prepared and given group 1 in past attempts..but didn't clear) Plz reply I am really confused 🙏
Hi Riddhima, Yes you can give 2nd group without sitting for group 1 but since you have filled exam form for both the groups, l'll recommended you to go for 1st group as well even if you have not prepared well. There is no harm in appearing for that as you have already paid fees for the same. Since you have studied group 1 earlier, IBS would not be difficult for you as this is an open book examination and you can easily find out the answers from the book. However , I would suggest just take out some 1 to 2 hours daily to go through the illustrations and test your knowlege questions of FR and AFM. This will help you a lot in IBS. For audit, you can watch revision videos on TH-cam from any faculty. I hope this helps. All the very best for your exams.🍀

Hi Sapna, abhi aap group 2 ki tension mat lo..we will see after nov 24. As of now, just focus on group 1 only and ensure that you are successful in it. 2nd group is comparatively easier than 1st.. toh vo ho jaega easily. Aur future contact ke liye I will see what can be done, either I will be sharing my telegram id or come up with something else very soon. All the very best for your exams😊👍

@@AmitSoni-gt2ne If you are appearing for nov 24 , then exams mein zaada time nhi hai abhi toh make your group 2 subjects and spom subjects strong and if you can spare daily 1 to 2 hours, just go through all the module questions of group 1 subject so in case any question repeats you get to know which chapter it has come from.
Hello mam I am appearing for only group 2 in nov 24 and i have not read group 1 at all. Can you please tell me how shall i prepare like strategy to clear ibs. If i have to g1 also for the purpose of ibs how should i do!? Kindly respond mam
It would be a little challenging to give IBS without preparing for group 1 , however , you can do the following: 1. Ensure that you get exemption in DT and IDT so that if you can get only passing marks in IBS also, you can clear group 2. 2. Watch revision videos for FR and AFM. Choose a faculty that makes you solve questions in the revision video so that atleast you get an idea as to from which topic the question came in exam and you can then open book and copy and paste from it. 3. Carry all the modules for group 1 and group 2. 4. Pick those case studies in exam which has more questions from group 2 as compared to group 1. 5. Solve DT and IDT questions first from all the case studies and leave space for group 1 subject questions which you can solve afterwards. 6. Try to go through all the MCQs given in the study material from group 1 as sometimes ICAI asks the same question as it is. Hope this will help. Best of luck 🍀
Mam, can you please share me your certified copies of may 24 dt, idt and ibs because i have also taken the classes from the same faculty. It will be helpful for me.
I took classes from AIR 1 CA. So made notes from their material only. If you want, you can check their website for free resources wherein the notes for all the subjects are uploaded by them free of cost.

Thanks Ayushi , for such an informative video on IBS. I have some queries : 1) How did you revise for IBS in the 1.5 days ? 2) What material did you carry for IDT and DT ? 3) How did you revise grp 1 subjects for May 24? 4) Is it useful to carry an index in the IBS exams
Thank you so much. To answer your queries : 1). In last 1.5 days, I had gone through all the 18 case studies only that ICAI published on its website so that in case anything repeats, I get to know by looking at the question itself. 2). For DT and IDT, I have carried my own handwritten notes only. 3). Since, I have appeared for Group 1 in November attempt, it was not difficult for me to handle those questions because all the questions came from ICAI module and we need to just copy and paste. I didn't revise AFM and Audit - just carried their modules. For FR- I have watched Ajay Agarwal sir's revision videos on TH-cam. For Law- I have watched Darshan Khare sir's revision videos on TH-cam. 4). Yes, you should definitely carry index in the exam but as said in the video, that is not enough. You need to go through the same well before exam so that you don't waste time in finding the answers. Hope this resolves your doubts. All the very best for your exams👍😊.
Hey CA Ayushi, congrats on clearing your CA Final. I've appeared and cleared my G1 exam in may 24. At the moment I've completed DT classes only(Self study is pending) and for IDT I've just started my class from today only. I'm bit worried about this IBS paper as to how much time should I allot to it. Could you take a bit time and please guide me in this regard? It'll be a great help. Thank you in anticipation
Hi Rohit, thanks a lot for the wishes and congratulations to you too for clearing the 1st group.🎉 Try to complete IDT classes by September and daily allocate atleast 2 to 3 hours for revising DT so that you don't forget the same at the end. For IBS, just finish all the case studies published by ICAI till September. Then in October allocate only 1/4th of your day revising for Group 1 subjects.( Since you've cleared it recently, you will be able to recall the concepts easily). And remaining time to be utilised for revising DT and IDT along with solving mock tests and RTPs. Also, since you are appearing for group 2 only, few days will be available for you in November as well. So, you have ample time to complete everything and revising well. All the very best for your exams😊👍

Is it better to take icai module to refer illustration or our own author book?
Take whichever book you are more comfortable with provided that it should have all the illustrations and questions of ICAI module
