Your video hits home over here. Growing up in the early nineties in a town called Terneuzen Dead Moon was omnipresent. The owners of a bar I used to go to were massive fans, so they played a lot of Dead Moon. Dead Moon eve visited Terneuzen a couple of times. Sweet memories! You guys did a great job! I love this one. The smiles and the kiss says it all! Hope to see you perform as a duo some more!
Wow. Cool. I guess Dead Moon toured Europe more than the States, especially early on. So glad y'all got to know Portland's greatest band---lucky. We had a blast doing this one----Jessica's first time playing a song all the way through!
Never heard this song before, still gives me goose bumps. Welcome to the fray Jessica- outstanding first video! Did not think my day could get better- smiling till it hurts guys.
Oh, Dave, you need to check out Dead Moon. This is one of the great bands that never "made it" here in the States. All heart, all the time. The Dead Moon documentary "Unknown Passage" tells the (amazing, inspiring) story---check it out.
Jess and Ralf it's better than OK. Fantastic! And there are many songs that have that same chord progression Jess so you'll be able to play lots. I hear UkeyDave gets another mention in a song. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Chip and Dale (cartoon chipmunks) but the thank yous at the end reminded me of them and their extreme politeness.
Jess! Welcome. What a terrific initial video. Great tune well, played, lovebird ending! All videos should have such awesomeness. You don't SEEM like a new player with that sorta nuanced arrangement. I'm guessing you play other instruments? Sousaphone? Hang drum? Viola di Gamba? Anyway, please hurry back. A new season starts tomorrow!
Well, there's a super duo! Ralf, your work is better with Jessica supporting you, but you probably already knew that. Sometimes it's better to be the support person, like John Entwistle of the Who-his bass line really matters, but he's probably not as tired as the front men at the end of the evening.

Way to go Jess! Excellent playing and singing guys. Well done.

Thanks, Ginny. I was thinking of Jessica's playing as the "bass" while we played this one.
great job! jess - love that blue uke!
Arrgh! If we knew duets were possible, we would have had this song for the wedding.
+Jacob Purkins This is the best song from Portland. Dead. Moon. For. Ever.
Well, it's okay..............just kidding! That was fantastic guys. Great job Jessica!
Great job Ralf and Jessica, and sneaking the ukeydave in there was more then ok for sure.
Great. Thanks
Wow!!! What an awesome song!!!! Great job :)))
+UkeFan Sumner Thanks! Great for us to be reminded of this one.
Thanks, Wim. Gotta get a "UkeyDave" in there.

Jess' uke is named "Sweetie" (because she sounds so sweet).

Jess got a few laughs from your note, Alan. She's a good drummer, and a natural strummer.
Thanks, Eric.
Muchas gracias.
