Thank you, this helped me tremendously. I can now write simple Dynamo tools that speeds up the process of family editing. I haven't figured out yet how if it is possible to create new family types within Dynamo, hoping that is possible.
You definitely can create types as long as you’re in that family document. It would require custom nodes or python. But I think crumple and maybe orchid have nodes for it.
