    Just what I was looking for, and more. Yes please, a tutorial showing other ways to finish that hem with a sewing machine. Great detail, clear instructions!

    Great instruction video. I've struggled to find good quality instruction for male clothes, so please carry on the good work.

    That's a fantastic look. It's a very clear tutorial on how to construct it, as well.

    Hi! I just found your channel and I love your tutorials! I love to sew too and I've been teaching other fashionstudents on making tees like this one, so I was wondering: Why are you putting the neck cuff on at the end? I normally put it on after I've sewn one shoulder and one side-seam to make sure it matches at the shoulder.. Just curious :) I will definately make this tee!

    Hey Josh, I just finished watching Sewing Bee and honestly I'm gutted for you. I feel like you've grown so much over the three weeks, so I'm definitely sad to see you go, I must say I liked the concept of your made measure dress - I'm Nigerian myself, and I have quite a lot of wax print lying around - one day I must sew something using one print in two colours.
    I'm wishing you the best of luck with your future sews. (And I'm looking forward to your future videos to come).
    P.s. If you have any wax print leftover, perhaps you might consider doing a TH-cam collaboration. I also make videos, although I'm no way near as good as you.

      Aww, thanks so much for the lovely comment! It was one hell of a journey that I relished in! I certainly thought I was just starting to find my feet but such as life, it was great!
      Oh thats brilliant thanks, yes you need to! I LOVED working with the fabric as it was easier to manipulate than many other fabrics!
      Thanks :)

    Hi. I discovered you a few days ago watching the GBSB, I'm happy to see you have a channel here. I just subscribed and watched a few videos :)
    Seeing you began sewing a few years ago, how useful is having an overlocker? Do you use it rarely? often? all the time? I use a zigzag stitch on my regular machine, but an overlocker looks so easy to use!

    • @joshbarnett9559
      @joshbarnett9559  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Maelpau, Oh brilliant, thanks! I would consider and overlocker my most useful and favourite machine. It brings any home sewer to the next level, however I do mainly work with jersey so that would be why I use it so much. :)

    Hey, man. Awesome stuff! Could you do a tutorial on how to put a "zip-ankle" on men's skinny jeans. Kind of like the Fear of God jeans worn on by Justin Bieber or the rapper Travis Scott sometimes.
    Cheers

    This is awesome :O And why did you use two different overlockers ? :) I think I have to buy overlocker ... It looks like really amazing thing !

    • @joshbarnett9559
      @joshbarnett9559  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I used and over locker for the seams and whats called a cover-stitch machine for the hems. This stitch is found on the hem of shop brought items.
      Thanks so much :)

    Perfect fabric, perfect cut :D Do you have a blog/Instagram Josh. (I'm a girl but I'm excited to see some outfits of the days (since I know you may not always have time to film a video). P.s. Thank you for making this so informative - I actually learnt a lot about sewing with jersey in a technical capacity.
