1. Fakes will have peaks where the authentic has a smoother cut.
2. R and D will connect on the Jordan Wings logo on authentic pairs where there is a space on fakes.
3. Insole on unauthorized Air Jordan 1 Black Toe is lighter White, almost Blue.
4. Nike Air on the tongue will almost be tucked, where the replica has a space.
5. Stitching on the inside panel is White on the authorized pair where the UA is Black.

I work for Nike and I went to visit a factory in China where the Jordans are made. When people say there "fake" its not true, they are "real" just defective shoe that didnt make the cut. They normally throw out to the trash, BUT there are people who buy them for dirt cheap and resell them online for $50-150+.

Also most of those sellers sell the same batches like h12 or best batch but for different prices so they use terms like 1:1 or ua to get people who are misinformed to buy at a slightly higher price. As long as you know who your buying from and qc your reps properly you'll get something worth your dollar.

Aye man really like your vids but one thing I wanna say is I don't think fake is the right term for this because I have a friend who works in a Nike factory and she said Nike will give blue prints for the shoe and they'll make 50,000 out of those 50,000 Nike might only take 30,000 they make over what Nike ask just in case they don't pass quality control that's why there small differences that's also y there's a such thing as b grades same shoe materials and factory just made poorly and instead of throwing them away they sell to the public for extra money because Nike doesn't pay these workers enough to live on don't get me wrong I do believe fakes are out there but I think shoes that are extremely close are the same shoes just minor defects and believe it or not most sneaker websites who arent authorized with Nike or Jordan brand like kicks on fire, sneakernews and flight club get there shoes from these people how do you think early pictures of shoes leak and some people get early pairs .... keep doing your thing bro

Hey Sneakerfiles. Love the vids bro i watch every one, but idk if im just being nitpicky but it seems like your videos have been stuttery lately. Ever since the new camera came in, the picture quality looks better. However there is like some sorta frame rate lag in the video itself imo. Dont mean to be critical, cause ik you said you were still working out the kinks on the new camera.
I am glad you are critical this helps a lot. I do know there was 3 segments in this video that I took off the tripod to get a better angle and it was shaky. I tried to fix it the best I could in final cut pro which it looks better but still slightly shaky. Could you tell me what parts in the video are off?

back in the days, you can smell fakes miles away while sleeping. These days you have to zoom/look very close to figure out fakes. I'm pretty sure 10 years later people will start using microscopes to tell if fake or not

the leather on these is Butter soft. better than breds and Royals. UNC is best leather out of OG colorways and these are a close second.

You can tell just by looking at the stitching around the nike logo, the ones to the right are sloppy, I found a pair of fakes at Champs, they sometimes have fakes and reals.
