If I didn’t live in a city apartment I would love to have one of these beautiful roosters along with a couple of the lovely hens. I love goldens so much! 🥰
Paul Stathakis they are loud enough to annoy the neighbors, if you have some close by. I once had a man give me a male Lady Amherst because it was so loud that it was bothering his neighbors.
Thanks. If you give them enough room most varieties get along pretty well. Some varieties are more aggressive, especially when overcrowded. I peep all my Reeves, but even then, I have problems with aggression from the males. Silvers can be aggressive. Ringnecks are fairly aggressive too.

Where is the information about square footage required, number of birds per sq ft, max flock side, ratios of cocks to hens, etc??
1 rooster to around 5-7 hens, 25 sq ft per bird, you want a block with not so much males or else there will be a lot of fighting
The last bit of the video I heard the male golden pheasent male noise is that the loudest they get?

Are you going to put other pheasent breeds together with the goldens ?
Paul Stathakis I never mixed my breeders. I ran chicks of different breeds together, but never birds that could breed.
Are you still selling pheasants and if so, where are you located?
I got out of birds a couple years ago.
Are they walking on sand?
Paul Stathakis yes. I put sand in my pens to help with drainage.
Hi. Nice birds. Are easy to raise? Friendly? Cold resistant? Thanks for the video
@Blass thank you
Nice setup. Are the Golden's the only type of pheasant that don't need blinders?
