@@thewadsquad This reminds me from when we went to Florida many years ago. We had a lot of fun on Indian Rocks Beach, West Palm, Beach, Tampa and St Petersburg. The kids always enjoy making sand castles, collecting shells, rocks and making pool and rivers.
Making lasting memories, as a family, where spending a lot of money isn't the focus.....being together, enjoying time as a family, is! I love how you're an example of being frugal not meaning you can't still have a fantastic time! Too many families think they must go into debt for vacations and they need to eat out every meal to have fun! Eating out, with 4 young kids, no matter how much money one may have, doesn't sound "fun" to me. We did it only on special occasions with the strict warning that, if they weren't on their BEST behavior, dad and I would not take them with us in the future. We often got compliments on how well our children behaved, and we'd ask the person to tell the kids that, to encourage them, and show them that people notice. (We weren't perfect, and one of us did have to leave the restaurant with a cranky, misbehaving child, but it usually only happened once.) I love how you center your vacation around your children. They'll always know how important they are to you, because you spend TIME with them. TIME is the greatest gift a parent gives their child. They didn't ask to be born. So, instead of pushing them away, it's important to show them they are loved, wanted, and cherished enough to sacrifice TIME that a parent may want to do something for themselves. You show that in every vlog. We have just 18-22 years to spend quality TIME with our children, then we can focus on whatever we want for ourselves.

Hi Kim! I was watching your twisted bacon cooking. If you want the twisted bacon to be cooked on both sides, you cook it for 40 min at 400 degrees and half way through you have to flip the twisted bacon over. It looks like the best way to flip them is using tongs to grab and flip several pieces at a time-kind of shake a bit so the ends aren’t all tangled and lay them down to cook. I love your videos. You are an inspiration, Kim.
Hey Kim! I use hair conditioner for shaving cream. No lather but a super smooth shave and once washed off your skin feels so moist and smooth. Doesn’t take much either!😘 Love your channel!

I LOVE the gulf side of Florida…really messes with your mind when the sun sets in the east!!! We just got home from Sandbridge Beach, VA, this afternoon after spending a week with 22 family members in a 9-bedroom house right on the beach! It was wonderful…we do it every 2 years!

Enjoyed this so much, Kim. My late Uncle Ralph used to live in Florida, and he would take sand dollars and paint poinsettias in the center and make them into Christmas ornaments. They were so beautiful!! ❤ TFS
Love a beach day! Also for the floaties, we always use an air pump (like the kind for blowing up an air mattress). So much faster especially for the bigger ones.
My 11 year old daughter is obsessed with palm trees. We are from Arkansas so obviously we don't have many here. So when we went to Disney last September we took our daughters to the beach for the first time and they loved it! Wish we lived in Florida.
We recently had a few of our grand babies over and they brought some blow up pool toys . I suggested to use our portable battery operated mattress pump with the toy blow up attachment. It worked perfectly!!
Being landlocked there is no way I am tired of the beach views. My parents retired to Deerfield Beach, FL and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting them several times a year, great memories. Looks like you had an awesome week!

I am from the Pacific Northwest and our beaches have dark sand and water. Still fun but rarely warm, especially this year. We have had the coldest, wettest Spring on record. I believe we have hit 70 degrees twice since March. The coolest weather in the nation is in Washington State and there is no end in site. We even have a ski area still open because it continues to snow in the mountains! Loved all your swimsuits and outfits of the day. You look so cute with your baby bump. Even with all the work having the family get away to relax and have fun is so important for the family. You and Alex are such great parents and you are making memories they will cherish forever. One of my favorite vacations was I went with my mom sister and her family to Wallowa Lake in Joseph Oregon. We stayed an inn and everyone had a great time and didn’t want to go home.
Hey Kim, I bought a portable rechargeable air pump on Amazon. I can blow up AND deflate 4-5 floaties at the beach or pool. It’s a game changer! Mine came with a car cable too in case it loses power before you have to go home and can’t fit them in the car.
Tree hut shave oil is LIFE CHANGING!!!! Makes my legs soooooo smooth AND (more importantly) I get such a close shave I can go longer between shaving. Love the videos❤️
We lived in Kissimmee when I was in late elementry and middle school. Right by Lake Tohopekaliga. We were always golden brown. Loved that time in my life. Miss the water and sun on repeat. Can’t wait to see that new baby. Still team boy.
Yes!! Bring your own knives!! We have a membership to an RV/Campgrounds membership and stay in their cabins a couple times a year. I always bring my own knives, cutting board, measuring cups and tongs. I just have a bag that goes with us on our trips. I hate having full knives!!

I love the sunset on the ocean! What could be better! A nice treat, so refreshing, banana bread. I just take 3 ripened bananas out of the freezer, makes two loves, and fix! So easy. Goes fast! I shave pits and legs every day in the shower. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Knife tip, if you have a blunt knife use a mug or a ceramic bowl turn it upside down and draw the knife over the rim this will sharpen your knife xxx

Lol, had to make a comment, Kim, I too use soap, shave foam is ridiculously expensive 😅 soap works perfectly....I adore the Lily Palooza dresses! The first is my favourite! I hope even though you had to do all the 'normal stuff, (cooking, laundry etc) that you still were able to relax and chill.out a bit too. 😀 see you next time
