Pooja, you are lucky that your children enjoy school. They will grow up to be as successful as their parents. The weather is not that bad at this point in the summer: it's hot, but being on the east coast (ocean side) of Florida, we do get some nice breezes to offset the heat. They are lighter compared to stoneware , but being porcelain they are not as light as Corelle dinnerware . I think they will be ok for handwashing , won’t be too heavy .

How heavy are the Safdie Cindy dinnerware pieces? Would it be too heavy to handwash?
