जानी दुशमन मल्टी स्टारर म्युझिकल,होरर फील्म थी और ये अलग टाईप का प्लोट होने कि वजह से खुब चली,गोल्डन ज्युबली रही
Incidentally, 1979 was also the year when Rafi Sahab was firmly entrenced at the top after his incredible comeback in 1976.
They used to say at that time that one of the essential ingredients to make a hit film was to have atleast two songs of Rafi Sahab in it.
Facing intense competition from Laxmikant Pyarelal, even R.D. Burman changed his strategy to include more songs of this wonderful singer.
The second half of 1979 and the first half of 1980 proved to be very strenuous for Rafi Sahab. With music directors lining up for him, he simply had too many songs to sing. Adding to this strain was his heavily packed schedule of stage shows whose tickets had already been sold out well in advance. Moreover, his health was deteriorating as he faced several medical issues.
Nature eventually prevailed and took its toll when this incomparable singer, and undisputedly the most noble person in the Indian film industry, passed away suddenly on July 31, 1980.
Rafi Sahab left behind a void which can never be filled.
At his funeral procession, a thin old man was crying inconsolably. He kept ranting that there had been three deaths. A person put a comforting arm around him and asked who else had died.
Pat came the reply in chaste Urdu. The greatest singer of the planet had passed away, a saint was no more and, above all, music had died.

Kishore was on top from 1969 to 1987. He was highest paid.

As always, great presentation and research. The level of hindi cinema went down as compared to the early 70s but still some really good films released in 1979 such as Sargam, Noorie, Mr Natwarlal, Jaani Dushman, etc. Some entertaining films as well such as suhaag, lahoo ke do rang, kartavya, etc. Lot of new heroes and heroines started to shine as well. This was the continuous third year were Amitabh was biggest star of Bollywood...
not third. in 1977 it was vinod khanna. 78 and 79 for amitabh.
in 1980 it was again vinod khanna.
@@drr9143 If you look in 1977 top films Amitabh has much more impactful roles then Vinod khanna like in Khoon pasina and Amar Akbar and Anthony (Iet alone role of Anthony made him house hold name and most famous star)
@@dhavalamin6410 just go through 1977 episode in this channel where it is concluded vinod khanna was star of the year. ten films were released for V K and eight of them were either blockbuster or superhit or hit. you forgot parvarish where VK left amitabh behind. inkaar and hatyara were his two solo big hits of the year.and also chor sipahi, aap ki khatir popular hits. the verdict was clearly in favour of vinod khanna.

खानदान का "यारों आओ खुशी मनाओ, हल्ला गुल्ला,शोर मचाओ, आजसे कॉलेज बंद है"गाना अटपटा लगा। खुशी तो कॉलेज जब चालू होता है तब होता।और हल्ला गुल्ला भी तब ही होता जब कॉलेज शुरू रहता है है।😂😂 फिर भी वह एक मजेदार गाना है।
