We learned that Jamahal Hill talked to DC, and Chael Sonen saying Herb Dean distracted him and that’s the reason he was knocked out. So DC and Chael are making videos on TH-cam so salty people will make it out to be this legitimate story that Herb Dean is why he lost. And Herb Dean was the referee because Jamahal requested him to prevent Goddard from being in there.
I saw that. So ridiculous. That fight would’ve ended the same way regardless

What we learned is that the " weight bully " statememt by fans is bs. When fighters move up in weight they do better. Aljo , figgy , alex p all did better.
Volk didn't do better, Izzy didn't do better, Usman didn't do better. Ik Volk and Usman have legit excuses but there are plenty of times where it hasn't gone well

Bo, imo, just has a pure wrestling base, and ufc knows what you mentioned. So they want to hope he learns in the cage. They'll have him high on the card, against bottom half competition, till he takes his first loss. I think he belongs like Chase Hooper belongs. Extreme talent in his base mma. Can be a top 10-15 fav (in that division)for a lot of people, and future top 15 contender... with a Cub Swanson, Clay Guida low end. Jim Miller, Charles Olives high end(title opportunity). They need that at middleweight. long tenured dude, for this new era. I think they have it, but middleweight is just sooo trash

I completely agree, I also think UFC can sustain that, with the 600+ odd fighters they currently use/lose, and gain throughout the years. Another thing that'll come of it. *More* (cuz this already happens with new fans, And die-hards) *Fans* will *Enjoy* fighters on the lower level cards, have them in their favs, and in doing such, enjoy the low level cards they are in throughout the year.
bo vs wideman is the fight to make. Dana will make sure Bo wears protective googles.
Bo Nickal didn't struggle. He used a method to win where he had no chance of losing. He could have gone in there swinging and won but was a low chance he could have been caught.

Even if that final exchange ended with both of them standing on their feet and a decision, the fact that Max Holloway did to Justin Gaethje what we thought before the fight that Justin Gaethje was gonna do to Max Holloway had my jaw dropping to the floor. Max not only hung in there, he flipped the entire script on its head and made Gaethje (one of the greatest lightweights right now) look like your average featherweight that fights Holloway. Crazy stuff!

It’s hard as an Alex fan not to go over the top sometimes. If we’re being fair he always delivers. Even in his loss to Izzy we all thought he was about to win that fight. He’s just so cool 😂

Yeah they need one card to feel like the super bowl of the UFC each year. Establish an annual tradition where fans anticipate it all year. Its mainly about making the early prelims good and all that. I had 10 people over and we grilled out, did a bunch of prop bets… it felt like a super bowl party. Want to know that we can do it again next year.
Also next time they stack the prelims like that can they get the event out of Vegas? The event will easily sell out anywhere. Go somewhere where they’ll appreciate it more and pack the arena cover to cover.

I agree about 1 great fight card per year. I’d love to see it on an American holiday. Maybe 4th of July, Christmas Eve, Da before Thanksgiving…They could rope in many more fans if they showcased how fun this sport is when families are getting together. NFL took over thanksgiving, NBA has locked in Christmas Day, would love to see it happen for UFC!

I don't mind the BMF title because of the fighters. Any champion gets paid more and the BMF is no different. Your checks go up. So as someone who doesn't like the current fighter pay then u should be happy it gives fighters the opportunity to bump up their paydays.

Basically he missed it for his title fight. As soon as the fight started the belt was now vacant so his opponent could be crown champion if he was to win

31:50 A UFC "Wrestlemania" type even would be a gold mine for them. Instead of waiting on a McGregor card to make the big bucks you can just have an annual even that's guaranteed to be a banger and that has casuals and/or lapsed MMA/UFC fans going "this is the best the UFC has to offer" and "let's see what they've got" just like Wrestlemania is for lapsed/casual WWE fans and you're pretty much guaranteed McGregor level sales once a year. Love it! People would be much more keen to buy tickets and shell out the big bucks for a PPV if it's the guaranteed biggest show of the year with all the best the organization has to offer. If there's ANYTHING the UFC should be taking from the WWE's playbook it's this, not the Hardcore Title and the Intercontinental title, or the theatrical promos.

They should do what you’re talking about at international fight week every year💯 I agree completely that card was a while different feeling watching seeing every single fight (except bo nickel and the girls so basically the girls😂) being entertaining and having me watching every fight with the feeling of a main event. Lol I felt a little depressed on Sunday and you could see on social media everyone was still so hyped shoot ppl are still positing clips today, I want that feeling again too we just gotta find a way yo present it to Dana like calling it “ufc elite” and they can number them making it a super special ordeal on top of international fight week, big bonuses, 3 title shots etc… I just pulled that off the top of my head driving home, if I had an hour with the guy I could put a whole plan in front of him and make it happen 😂😂 there is an idea there for sure and I would love to see it happen!!

I think the best thing for you would be to actually do a boxing bout in the amateur or mma. Some of the things you say you wouldn't say if you understand what emotions go through your head when you're copping damage and your game plan ain't going right.
