I love how Monroe went from nicks wesen informant to basically his best friend. You can tell with how awkward they kind of are in this scene and later on when Monroe ask nick to be his best man despite the fact that him and rosalees family are wesen whose only experience are through Grimm horror stories
Nick: What's your favorite color. Monroe: You don't mean that. Nick: No really I wanna know. Long Pause Monroe: Red. Nick: Well I feel so much closer to you now! 😂😂
There was so much passion in this series!! Even though the end was rushed, I still felt like the original creators were trying so hard to put their soul into it. I hope they get to redo the last chapter and add more seasons to end it like the masterpiece it was meant to be! Monroe would be such an epic friend in real life too, Blutbaden or not.
I'm actually fairly envious of Monroe. Not because he's a Blutbad; I couldn't care less about that. It's actually his job. I mean, repairing old mechanical clocks sounds somewhat interesting, and when you think about it, it carries a _lot_ of advantages: he is his own boss, he can work from home, his skill is rare so there isn't a lot of competition for his services, and he can basically charge whatever he wants for his services because he's dealing in antiques. High price per job means he doesn't have to work all day every day like most people do, and if he runs into a lull in jobs, he can always buy a few broken antique clocks from a junk dealer, fix them up and sell them off.
@@SergioBocanegra Blutbad or Blutbaden (plural) actually translates to blood bath, something werewolves were known for in folklore. And the "Big Bad Wolf" is basically a childhood story version of a werewolf. So some connection but not the right one
This was just a fucking good series. They had monsters who showed up early and often, they had friendships and loyalty, they had natural enemies working together, and it was just a good escape from reality. I miss that show, especially "Bud".

Monroe I think was just the best part of this show, the actor to play him was perfect cause of how he said things and reacted. he was amazing as the character.
The weirdest thing about his character (that I still can’t believe was done so smoothly) is that he was never given a last name. The most obvious scene that would’ve given his last name (the Mr and Mrs announcement at the wedding) was interrupted by Trubel’s arrival, and Rosalee always used her family name for business purposes. Still not certain if there was a purpose to it or if it was just an inside joke, but it was definitely interesting.

Just realized this episode really showcased how strong Nick actually is at this point. The fact he was able to flip that metal cabinet one-handed without bracing himself is pretty impressive. One would have to assume that, with as valuable as the contents of that cabinet are, it would be pretty sturdy construction. AKA, hard to tip over. SInce it looks to be metal, I'm going to suspect it's commercial grade. I have a 2 drawer professional grade filing cabinet that, when empty, ways at least 70lb-80lb. Add to that most of the stuff in there is in glass containers, and at a minimum, it's over 300lb easily. And he yanks it over like it's weightless. With one hand/arm. That's pretty strong
And this is him at the beginning of his Grimm journey. It's not just about his strength - he's able to take TREMENDOUS amounts of punishment to the point where he's able to fight three Wildesheer in hand-to-hand combat.
