- This is my 2023 Death Race adventure. This race was the culmination of 20 years of work. When I was 23 years old I had debilitating anxiety disorder and was addicted to alcohol to cope with my anxiety. After many trial and tribulations, I decided to start working on myself to get better. #deathrace #ultrarunning #running #addiction #mentalhealth #health #anxiety #alcohol

Absolutely incredible! Seeing Mark do this and make it look that easy is not a surprise to ones that have been fortunate enough to see his Mindset, work ethic and determination over the last few Years and more!!
Thanks Evan! It''s been fun watching you grow right along side of me. Let's keep rolling!
Was really surprised by the high quality of the video by a new channel. Great debut video. Best wishes from germany.
@steynberg thanks for watching the video! So cool you saw it in Germany. We'll have more videos coming.
Great job!! Wow!
Thanks for checking it out Lyle! I appreciate the positive feedback.
"Say it and actually do it" I needed to hear those words. Very nicely done.
Thanks for checking it out @alwaysServing! Words to live by!
What an awesome quality documentary. Inspiring and emotional. I volunteered and ran a relay leg. I’m excited to solo next year. Congrats on your huge accomplishment Mark!
Thanks @johnnykillo4967! You should do the solo next year!!
Incredible!!! The accomplishment of finishing that gruelling race and the documentary, an awesome example of perseverance and commitment!
Thanks for checking it out @cararamage!
Mark the film is absolutely incredible! Watched it with my dad, and he was blown away too. Experiencing it on the big screen added to the impact. It’s so inspiring - the mental toughness, grit, and mindset displayed. Your ability to document it is fantastic; you could have a thriving TH-cam channel just with these videos. I don’t know much about ultra marathon running, but when the sweets came out, I thought, “Uh-oh, here we go!” Yet, you conquered every challenge.
Congratulations, Mark! It’s truly amazing! Happy New Year to you and your family
I really appreciate the positive feedback Aisha! I'm going to have more videos coming soon.
Congratulations Mark! Awesome accomplishment. Not just the physical aspect but the mental preparation and the dedication and perseverance during the training and of course during the race
🪓💪🙌
Thanks for Checking it out! I appreciate the feedback.
Amazing video and fantastic achievement as a runner with only one 53k trail race under my belt and now sober for 17 months. Hearing your story is motivational and inspiring on so many levels. Thanks for putting this out there. I’ll be using this as a field guide for my upcoming CDR this year👊
Thanks for checking out the movie @Karlwatson33! Congrats on your 17 months of sobriety that's a huge accomplishment. That decision changed my life forever. If you want to chat about CDR let me know! You got it!
Fantastic video, well done finishing the race!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my Video! I'll be posting new videos soon.
Thanks for watching my video! Would love to see some comments or thoughts.
Such a great opportunity to work on this project with you Mark, I'm so proud you finished. To anyone watching Mark was mainly crewing himself with the pre-packed bags as I was carrying around film gear and cooking meals out of the back of the truck which makes this even more impressive, more to come!
I appreciate you DJ! Couldn't have got it done without you. Looking forward to our next one.
Nicely done video! I’m from the area so am quite familiar with the race. Congrats on finishing this incredible race!
Thanks for checking it out! Loved the race.
Well done, Mark! This was some inspiring and powerful stuff. Never place arbitrary limits on what one can achieve. Thank you for sharing your journey! Great job DJ on the video production!
Thanks for checking it out JP! I appreciate your feedback. Dj is a beast on the camera and crewing.
I think my 12km run cold turkey too the flag pole might have helped
Defiantly helped out my friend!
