Thank you Randy and Julie, for such a lovely and beautiful video. The hot spring pools looked wonderful as did the food. I wish you both a Blessed Sunday... Robin 🙏💗
At landscape is beautiful! Would love to try to get in the Hot Springs but I don't think I could handle it 😅 Sometimes hot tub for too much for me lol All the people that were once locked up in that jail were dreaming of a good hamburger and a milkshake at one point or another and you just walk right out and get it 😅
I agree - you can eat ice cream for breakfast anytime! Love it - I was about 45 years old when I realized that. At the hotsprings, one of those temp reading gun-tools would be really good to have along. Years ago we went to some of the hotsprings a bit South of there - so fabulous! The water coming out of that rock on the last group of hotsprings was incredible! I've never seen a fish taco that size... and I have seen my share of fish tacos! Hope you & your famiily are all well!
Hello America's Parks, and WOW I would have loved checking out those hot springs. Yeah I would have been all over that. That delicious food...ohhh man you should have saved some for me😊😊😊. Randy, I really enjoyed this video my friend. AMAZING VIDEO!
The hot springs in the eastern Sierra are definitely a treat 😊 It was so kind of you to allow another couple to enjoy their time. I'm happy you two got to enjoy so many of the different pools. 😊
One of my favorite areas! Loved seeing it from someone else’s eyes! My husband proposed not far from Bridgeport. Love the hot springs and some of the high elevation lakes around there. I’ve never checked out the jail so will have to add that one to our next trip.
Nature is just amazing. From the big National Parks to small hidden gems like this one, there is beauty everywhere. The taco Julie ordered was the biggest taco I think I have seen from any restaurant. Amazing. I absolutely would have ordered a breakfast burrito and come back for a chicken burrito later that day. Thanks for sharing this adventure and we look forward to the next one :) Much love
I love The Barn!! I usually get a pastrami burger when i'm there. So good, and I don't blame you for going more than once to the same place to eat . I've never been to the Hot Springs or the old jail, so that's something new for me to see!
Wow, so many to choose from and no one to contend with - that sounds perfect. I can't image being locked up. Hahaha, I think you're right - you must have done something REALLY bad for them to care in those early settler days. I love me some milkshakes! They definitely bring me to the yard, lol. That's the largest taco I've ever seen, lol.
Very cool spot! It looks like it would be a fun day trip from the Silicon Valley (where I live). Thanks for yet another great video recommendation/review/experience!
Roxana and i ate at the Barn, great spot. more recently we tried the Bridgeport Inn, also great but we went at lunch and after labor day off season, the menu was limited. Those springs look amazing and the last ones, Wow that is a big formation of minerals or whatever it is that the water is trickling down, so fascinating! we didnt know about that one, will have to check it out.... that jail must have been crazy hot in summer and very cold in winter too / awesome time in the eatern sierra thanks for sharing
So many great hot springs. Looks like they were very private! Possibly old gold mining up in that area? Or lugging jail mates. 😅 We love ice cream also ;)
Funny! i just ate there last week! We have a new route that has us deliver in Sparks Nevada, allowing me to travel the entire length of the 395. No complaints from me! Right past the Burger place and the bridge over the river is a big dirt lott I parked at to stop and eat. Too much food! This is opening a huge new area that I have been researching for stops I can hit along when on the road. North of Bridge port, the Walker runs right along the side of the highway...and you know i will be stopping for some fishing when they send me up there again( which will be soon). Is that jail right in town? I should be within walking distance of it considering how small the town is. Awesome!
Hey buddy! Yes, the jail is right there in town... I believe a block off the main road. The hot spring were up in the hills out outside of the city, about 1-2 miles (I believe) on a dirt road.
Thank you Randy and Julie, for such a lovely and beautiful video. The hot spring pools looked wonderful as did the food. I wish you both a Blessed Sunday... Robin 🙏💗
Hope you had a blessed Lord's Day, brother! So good to know our sovereign King is in control!
What a great place to relax. And the scenery is a bonus.
Thank you for sharing this adventure!

Hey Nick, hope you and Rachel had a blessed Christmas! The Lord's best to both of you in 2024!
Great video. I've passed my by Bridgeport many times and eaten at the Jolly Kone but I never know there were hot springs there. I'll be going back.
That is an epic area, my first visit was way back 50 years ago.
It snowed in the area over the weekend and it's a little early for snow.
Another fun and interesting stop from this trip. That food!!! Such a great time 😊Take care always!

Glad to hear this relatively unknown place has a special place in your heart! We had a great time there as well!

Grateful for all the love and encouragement you have shown me, my family and the channel over the years. You have a good heart, my friend!
I’m surprised Mom didn’t hang in the hot spring all day. Those fish tacos looked so good too!
amazing beauty place

Really cool that you've been to that restaurant, my friend! Really cool area, especially when you add in Momo Lake and Bodie SP.

Thanks, my friend! Such a special part of our amazing country. Also did Mono Lake and Bodie SP when we were out there.
You sure can eat ice cream for breakfast anytime
You are the man!

Actually, I believe I read they mined "travertine" there. Hope your wonderful family is doing well!
@@AmericasParks I suppose that makes more sense!
