Poor Barry trying to hype up Soren on launch week, now we gotta see him try to hype up Ulmus.
Admittedly, I think Ulmus will be better than Soren as his EX weapon synergizes well with Eironn, Flora, and a few other key units. The biggest thing I wonder about is the cooldown on his EX. The in game numbers say 10 seconds, the video said 4… maybe his S+ trait knocks it down to 4?

Hate pulling Niru and Salazar. (Silvina and Viperian at Supreme+).
The problem is the game doesn't motivate diverse comps. E.g. in Dragalia Lost, there were specific boss fights that required various comps to beat and get higher powered gear. I know it's a different game, but AFKJ doesn't create any motivation to get new heroes to break through a particular wall. Competing on the leaderboards is pointless if you are not a whale. So, all that's left is pushing AFK stages, which just waiting for another 10 levels let's you push forward. Plus, there are no must-have rewards that have tough requirements to earn. It is really just mediocre rewards that can be achieved by waiting a few days.
On the other hand, too many gachas release heroes fast and demand that you keep building new heroes which gets exhausting even if the resources aren't too badly gated (and they usually are). I want the OPTION to use my initial team(s) and have them hold up across as many updates as possible because I get attached to characters.
@@jshtng78 Agreed, I'm not looking for a reason to spend. However, part of the fun of a gatcha game is getting that hero that let's you break through a wall. The vast majority of the game really does revolve around 8-10 heroes.
They need to hype gamę again, cool heroes, road map, good promo codes.
I hope he's tanky, could synergies with heroes that you've said. Same with brutus his bane is probably odie. 30% odie will sent this tree to jesus. I just hope every time he roots the hero, everyone could benefit with that life drain.
I’m confused some of the best characters are A level and ppl act like that isn’t the case, sure less hype, I agree but can be broken. Just gotta wait and see
Typically, A rank heroes are really specialized at doing two things. S rank are specialized at doing three.
An A rank might be missing sustainability skills, or might have great damage but no CC. S ranks are more complete heroes.
That being said, their stats are the same until ex-15
The Wilders are just dead set on being the most annoying faction in the game aren't they? Are they going to shove it down our throat till everyone has an Eironn comp before they sell us the antidote?
All about control and mass healing yup. I can't wait until another comp is better than an Eironn team lol
Even in afk arena, when you think of cc and healing, you think of Wilders. Grabevorns have the dmg and immunities, maulers have the dmg and anti cc, lighborns have the shields and mass dmg (not shown in afk journey), and Wilders are dominant with cc and healings
When we get our Eironn nuke ready with EX weapons invested, possibly Paragon Tier (Low spenders / F2P). We'll get the new meta.
64 copies from the dream store is not a small investment, though. Maybe for people who are really high on leaderboards it goes quicker, but I get about 450 tokens per day, so that's about 170 days to fully max a hero (plus the boss rewards, which is I think 500 per stage, so it actually goes a bit quicker, but not by much). Sure, the chance to get an S-tier from pulls is low, but they also need 8x fewer copies. So to me, an A-level banner is actually attractive (provided the hero is good of course), as it substantially speeds up getting that hero compared with getting them from the dream store.
S ranks also require about 150 additional acorns above A rank heroes.
@@justifiably_stupid4998 Personally, I've never had any issues with acorns. I get copies so slowly, that acorns have just not been a problem in the slightest.
@1010papillon maybe you can lend me some then. I don't know how I got here but I have 3 heroes that I can't upgrade atm for lack of acorns.
@@justifiably_stupid4998 Maybe it depends on spending levels? I just don't get enough tickets for this to be an issue. Then again, I have heard f2p being advised to spend diamonds on acorns. So maybe I'm just a supremely unlucky outlier.
I am to impatient to wait another 3 week and also i he can be may missing piece on the wilder team so i hope using all my resources on him isn't shooting myself in the foot

Issue is he might slot quite well into my variation of the Eironn team but I'm just not super hyped for a tree.
As far as I read everywhere, most players don't like A-Level banners. And what do they do? They'll do another one right away ...
Even if the next one is the meta-breaking new unit, I am not that hyped anymore, because everyone has saved so many ressources that everyone will get it right away.
So he will leave the front and let everyone behind him die.
