I've smelled a lot of rose oud combos and Akaster is my favorite. Probably because it doesn't have an overly sweet or "Jammy" rose and adding cypress to the mix is what really hooked me.
@@AlpineMontane 🤣 I hope you try both The Night and The Moon, both some of the best fragrances I have ever smelled. The dark aura The Night creates around you when you give it time I have never experienced in anything else before.
I may be biased towards Akaster as it was the first rose/oud I tried. I do own a fair few though always find myself returning to this. If you have any good recomendations please let me know. Cheers

My fav rose oud is The Night by Frederic Malle.
I would very much like to get my nose on this. however, I would need to do some extra hours in the office to be able to buy this one, lol

Brilliant boss, i like akaster however i prefer many other rose oud combos!

Try oud maximus and oud monarch by Bortnikoff, those are using all real oud.
Yes I doo like the look of Oud Maximus though when looking into it it is difficult to find in UK without having to pay full retail.
