    You have done a really nice job on the van. I was able to add shore power to my van after watching one of your videos. I hope you are enjoying your travels.

      Thanks, and having shore power without squeezing a cord through one of the doors is a game changer, I'm glad I could be a help. We are headed off next week to Arkansas and Crater of Diamonds state park. I can't wait for a bit warmer weather it's supposed to be -6F the day we leave home.

    You did an amazing job! It looks super cozy. (Tell Jim that I came up empty at the banquet this year. )

    Happy new year! Looks like you have a lot of storage options in your build! 👍 Also we have those same gas struts for our cabinets in our promaster!

      Thanks. It's working out so well. I still have empty cabinets above and plenty of space below.

    Happy New Year, Michelle. Also Happy and safe travels to you and the hubby. Will you give us a look at plus information about your screen door?

      For my screen door, I bought on Amazon a house 'sliding glass door screen' that splits in the middle with magnets. It's kinda wonky in the way I put it up with rare earth magnets. It works just fine but can be a pain to put up and take down and I'm worried about scratching the paint since the front has to be magneted on the outside of the van. I've seen others put up the same outfit the velcro (included) but I have doubts about the longevity of the adhesive. In my head I'm working on a wood frame set up that snugs in since the front pillar is plastic wrapped. My plan is to take it out or wind up half or all of it. When I get that done I'll post a video of it.

    Looks like you have a nice set up for travel! I know we just answered your question about how we power our van. How about you? What kind of set up do you have?

      Thanks, she's my baby.... Totally love traveling in her. Right now I'm plugging into shore power, but next month my Inergy Flex 1500 is coming with 4x 100w of solar and 2x 1,000 wh or lithium batteries. I can't wait. boondocking is a dream of mine, but hubby has to have c-pap so we must plug in. Can't wait to have the freedom you two do. I just love your videos. I'm hoping to visit Florida (again) maybe this winter nor next. Thanks for the comment.

      @@michele2017promastertravel I'm not sure we ever saw your comment back. Did you get your Inergy Flex 1500 unit and solar panels? We hope you're able to get out and do some boondocking?

      @@SteveAudra Yep, got it a couple weeks ago. Now I'm figuring out the rack attachment. Waiting for parts to come in Video to follow. I'm so excited. I've been watching the situation you have with your unit and wonder if you can't just move it out into the open to help with overheating. My location for my flex is going to be be under my fridge in an open cabinet. I'll be doing an install video in a few weeks when all the hardware finally arrives.

      @@michele2017promastertravel We don't seem to get consistent performance with our unit. We ran it recently without a problem and the temps were much higher than other times when it has overheated. And the space it's in is pretty large. I think we need to at least add a spacer between it and the one wall. It's been a bit perplexing.

    This is in Wisconsin right?

    • @michele2017promastertravel
      @michele2017promastertravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. On the peninsula north of Greenbay. Peninsula State Park was beautiful place to camp. If you happen to go, they rent e-bikes to ride around the state park, something I wanted to do but didn't budget time for. Here is the video I did of the park. I also did a few more videos in that area. th-cam.com/video/T4xrZimyMwo/w-d-xo.html
