Great update! I enjoyed a trip out on the twixtmas Mountain spirit! Linda is possibly the world’s shiniest loco (she looks amazing!). Awesome progress on the 134!! Bravo!! I liked the new into too!
What gorgeous little trains you’re running!! I’m hoping to come to Porthmadog this year in September for some nice rides on trains along one of the most beautiful railways in Britain.
It is suggested that when completed the loco should be numbered NG134 RDW , R being rebuild and DW being Dinas Works. This was a custom used by the SAR when loco configurations were changed during overhaul
I believe there's an additional killer issue ...... the site of the former nuclear power plant at Trawsfynydd (the reason the mothballed line still exists) has been identified as having potential to host one of the next generations of ..... nuclear power plant. Whether that might translate into some future extension of passenger services from Llandudno southwards towards Manod and Llan Ffestiniog is anyone's guess for now.
The new loco cab has glazed returns behind the crew like many Baldwins etc. If this does not prove sufficient a removable tender cab option is designed, it fits where the toolboxes are.
It certainly is one of our noisy places. The carriage works and paint shop are at Boston Lodge and the NG15 is in the loco shed at Dinas on the Welsh Highland.

Liking the shorter intro. Still great content too. 👍
Thanks, we try to please.
Thanks again for the updates, great work behind the scenes to keep this railway one of best. Ray.
Thank for the great video again it is good to see the progress being made.
134 is certainly a glorious locomotive!! I hope she’s ready for my visit in September!!

What's the new build De-Winton? I've not seen anything about that before?
It's a private project to replace the little coffee pot loco, Leary, that used to reside on the railway. We will follow the progress of it soon.

I really hope 134 is brought out by Bachmann ❤❤
Nice bit of double header footage there! 😜
Most excellent.

Thank you. Have you considered extending the line from Blaenau towards Bala?
The line as far as Trawsfynydd is only moth balled so even if there was a desire for more railway we couldn't go further. Forty miles is enough.

great job btw why no tender cab ?

I presume that the noisy place is the Boston Lodge Works. Am I correct?

Linda has been in use during the last 10 years, so was it being overhauled whilst still in service?
The ten year overhaul means at the end of a ten year period in service rather than taking ten years.
El Supremo... 😆 Does Mr. Williams receive a pay increase with that title?
These are very slickly produced videos commensurate with your claim to the #1 railway in the world.
Thank you, glad you enjoy them.
