at 18:15 the California thing is just bananas. If you get enough signatures you can skip the legislature and go straight to the ballot initiative which is why those things are regularly on the ballot... Banana pants.

I think it is deinterlaced, just weakly. It can miss some sections occasionally. If it were still interlaced it would be constant.

Discounting the Chicago Cubs' World Series win in 1908 doesn't make this their first win ever. They won it in 1907 too.
Also, Merkle's Boner wasn't in the 1908 World Series, but in the 1908 regular season, when the Cubs, Giants and Pirates were in the middle of a tight pennant race. Merkle's Boner probably let the Cubs advance to the WS that year.
