Does this simulation always programed to degenerate into global thermonuclear war, or would it allow me to model different scenarios? Like conventional war at sea with nuclear underwater attacks on Boomers ? Or a war where I could model conventional attacks out of Finland using MOPs on Russian silos and cluster bombs on road mobile units? Would it allow me to model SM-6 and SM-3s as interceptors placed as I chose? If so it someone please tell me and I will buy it.
You can edit the scenario by adding interceptor missiles, but it is programmed to always result in a full scale nuclear war between US and RU. Conventional weapons are not really modeled in this game AFAIK, nor are air-defense systems for taking out bombers.
@@madeconomist458 Thanks a lot for the help! Sounds like near perfect modeling ..but only after nuclear commitment. But not realistic or maybe the word I'm looking for is broad enough if it does not account for large scale air/sea conventional war that climbs up the escalation ladder step by step.
@@patclark2186 Unfortunately it doesn't have that, it's from the same company who did Command Modern Operations, and that scenario doesn't really have nuclear sims. This thing can simulate nuclear fallout based on current wind patterns, etc. it's more of a simulation than a game.
What if the simulation criteria starts with a convencional defeat of Ukraine (which is happening) and the use of uranium ammo by NATO (which is about to happen).
Thank you

If you enable AI, it will always launch back if struck, but this is scenario of various escalation.

Only problem i see with these simulations is russians being very trigger unhappy and west and nato being exceptionally trigger happy.
sounds like reality to me. Always been that way.

Doesnt matter, it's all smoking rubble if we don't pull back from the brink.
