    Hello, question not sure if you will know the answer. My goby's tend lose all there color and become basically white when they're on the glass. But they get it right back when they hang out in the plants. Is that normal behavior?

    • @KrishsAquariums
      @KrishsAquariums  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't experienced this with my gobies, I don't know why this is happening to yours sadly!

      Do you have more than 1 male? When they start getting in each others face is when the colors really shine.

    • @KrishsAquariums
      @KrishsAquariums  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have multiple males and no females! You are right when they get territorial there colours get brighter!

    I plan on making a river tank in the future with very high flow, it will house zebra danios, dwarf neon rainbows, hillstream loaches, and stiphodon gobies.

    • @KrishsAquariums
      @KrishsAquariums  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds amazing, the stiphodon gobies will love it in that kind of set up!

    • @kenjiro2676
      @kenjiro2676 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KrishsAquariums the tank will have an island in the middle and pumps that pump the water around the island. I may also add some vampire shrimp or bamboo shrimp to more life into an already active tank.

    • @KrishsAquariums
      @KrishsAquariums  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kenjiro2676 That kind of layout should provide a good amount of flow. Interesting, I have never kept vampire shrimp or bamboo shrimp before!

    Would stipodon gobies be ok in a 10 gallon tank without a high current?

    • @KrishsAquariums
      @KrishsAquariums  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my experience I have found the high flow helps a lot, I’m sure they will be okay, but probably won’t thrive
