The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has the new generation of Active Stability Control (ASC)3 is a strengthened iteration that employs a series of sensors that constantly monitor the grip of each tire. If a wheel begins to slip, ASC automatically communicates with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to help you maintain control of the vehicle in just about any situation.

You don't have to worry about switching between low and high beams when driving in sporadically lighted areas. Your Outlander Sport's Auto High Beam Headlights7 will do the work for you by automatically adjusting between the brightness levels depending on the surrounding light.
Maintaining visibility on the road is important. The available automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers activate at the first sight of rain and adjust to match the frequency of rainfall so you can continue to focus on what's in front of you.
The Forward Collision Mitigation System8 helps prevent or reduce the severity of frontal collisions by warning you of a vehicle or person at an unsafe distance ahead and then applying the brakes as necessary
Stand out with the new LED daytime running lights9 that offer distinct style and increased visibility on the road. When it snows or rains, the fog lights9 will beam through to help give a clearer view of the road ahead.

Have two 2011 Lancers with this same drivetrain and they've been very reliable - neither has needed any warranty repair. My dealer in Southern California has this exact Outlander Sport with the same options (including the safety features like forward collision mitigation) for $21,500. I know its due for a redesign compared to its rivals, but that's really reasonable for what you get. Tempted!

I really like Mitsubishi. They build their cars to last and with that 10 year warranty it shows they got nothing to hide and stand by their brand. I own a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander GT and it runs great and handles quite a bit from long road trips, good desert off road driving, and then high mountain driving when I went camping with friends. It handles it all and with those roof rails, it can take on my pop up tent and a cargo storage thing ha ha. I just wish in the Outlander they had the panoramic roof. Given the Outlander is pretty big I'm surprised they only put that in the smaller suvs and not in that Outlander. The roof of the Outlander is pretty strong though. I sat on the roof looking at the stars at Joshua Tree. I highly recommend anyone to buy this brand, and for the price is a pretty good deal and you could almost get a sedan for the same amount or get a really capible Mitsubishi.

Thanks Paul! I just purchased the Gray with black trim Outlander Sport SE last week. This video really helps because I'm still learning about this vehicle. How much does the cargo cover go for anyway? Mine did not come with one. It's my first Mitsubishi and so far I'm really pleased with it. Traded my Ford Ranger for it.
It's amazing how durable and tough these little vehicles are. Lived in the mountains and in the summer this vehicles was amazing when exploring. I sold one and bought a jeep wrangler and if I could do it over I would keep the RVR (Canada). Way better on road and when climbing mountain I had way more control in this rig. Great vehicle from Mitsubishi and I am going to be buying another one in the future.

Hello I had a 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer but got into a car accident not my fault so I'm researching on a vehicle and I'm thinking about this particular one does anyone know how this vehicle is on maintenance? I called my local Mitsubishi dealer in Schaumburg Illinois and they said it was the same plan please help?? Thanks you.! 🙏🙏
The maintenance is the same as most cars
Change the oil every 5 to 7 thousand
The CVT really should be changed every 30k
Also there is an inline paper filter for the CVT that should be changed with it.

@@anguslean4058 I really appreciate you sending me this I posted this around November so I purchase a vehicle on Black Friday and I chose to get a new 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE with 15 miles. I wanted a Mitsubishi because I had a 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer that I bought New as well. So far I'm loving the vehicle I'm so happy with the purchase. Everything is correct of what you said I do take care of it and in a long-run good maintenance good gas mileage and overall saving 💰

4cylinder is enough for a compact SUV. The CVT helps fuel economy, it's a compact SUV not a truck or sports car. Doesn't need a normal transmission

Great car but beware, this car can't compete with the offered standard safety equipment with other manufacturers. For example Toyota comes with many standard features. This vehicle is no longer as safe as it once was and you will pay more in insurance.
