Stay safe and check the roof periodically for any drainage that has to be cleaned of debris, especially before you are expecting heavy down pours. Putting a screen cover over drainage should help. Glad you guys got the problem fixed before any major damage happened.
I just had a clogged aircon drainage that caused the unit to malfunction. I called the technician. He recommended that I have a regular maintenance service which includes clean up of drainage system at the start of summer and before winter begins. Maybe you can do yours more frequently like quarterly. I’m lucky because it doesn’t rain like hell here in Southern California (at least not often). Here in the US, you really have to pay the air conditioning company to regularly maintain your air conditioning unit and heater once a year. So twice a year they come over to maintain it.
maybe you need to put a bigger size pipe for the drainage and check what blocks the drainage. my husband always check the house once a month because we dont really see until it happens. hope everything is dry so that there will be no molds

does your house have a gutter? If you do have a gutter, it could be full of leaves & dirt. That's what happened to my sister's house. Gutters should be cleaned every year before the rainy season. It is also best to place screens on all gutter drainage to prevent leaves getting into the gutter.
Maybe put a shield (screen-netting) on the square drainage hole & each time there is prediction of rain, go upstairs & check that there are no leaves or debris covering the screen. 😊Glad you were able to remedy the leak the next day.
That's the headache of owning a house -- there's always something breaking down or going wrong. But your house is brand-new so it really shouldn't have that kind of leak. If it's a clogged drain, best to unclog and put some kind of screen so that leaves and other debris do not fall in and block the drainage. It's great that you have a roof area. I prefer angled roofs over flat leveled ones though for the very reason that water flows off to a gutter and down a gutter pipe and do not accumulate. Of course, one has to periodically clear the gutter of leaves as well but there's less tendency to have a leak unless there's a hole or crack in the roof.
You might have a missing or broken slates or tiles… roof flushing might have been improperly installed or improperly driven roofing nails. You should call the builder that built your house or a proper honest builder to check & investigate the cause of the leaks

You should open your ceiling so that you know where the water is running you know if the water drops there i guess its not directly coming there so you should open your ceiling and wait when the rain comes again or ask laborer to bring water to know if the fushing if your roof is sealed.

This morning while i was preparing for work i was watching this video about the leaking of the AC unit in your home. I am sorry that happened to you all. Anyways when i got home from my work around 4pm gee, the same thing happened at my house. We were also having hard rains outside and it rained inside also. Lol. Blocked drainage. I am a filipino. Suggestion: maybe leaf guards placed on drainage pipes would prevent future water leaks inside your home. Also, watch out for molds (especially the black mold called Stachybotrys chartarum) growing on water-damage area in your house.
Why don’t you have filter to prevent prevent dry leaves from accumulating on the pipe.. the water drainage should be towards the downspout not on the roof itself.. I have no idea how air conditioning system are design in Correa. Here in the US if airconditioning system is on the roof top they have downspouts draining towards the side of the building to the ground. I have a central airconditioning unit at the side of the house. It only pump cold air inside the house. Sorry about your dilemma. God bless.
Sorry for your leaks in the house. But that was not a flood. We live in hurricane paths, and we, as sad as it can be, have floods. Make sure these leaks didn't leave any mold or mildew behind.

Why is your AC installed like that . First time I see it on the ceiling. You should install them on the side wall with an overhang cover outside so rain or sun does not expose it. Usually when they install it, they don’t seal all the openings and can expose you to the elements like rain. I had to seal all mines with concrete or silicone sealant.
Flat roof is not ideal especially in sub temperate or temperate countries. Good drainage is an advantage. Your engineer did not take into consideration the possibility of rain accumulation on the roof. Or maybe he just follow what you want.

I think you need to call the builder. It’s a brand new house and you’re not supposed to have leakage anywhere

put a screen where the water running to your gutter so the leaves won't get in. to avoid the problem you have now.

We've encountered the same problem..I buy a flat screen wire to put on ur drainage..so all the leaves won't goes into the hole.
