Glad to see some rep for the BXR, it's one of my favorites! I play controller and I have a BXR with chambered compensator, ricochet, snapshot, and elemental capacitor, with a stability masterwork, and I use the full-auto retrofit bc pulling the trigger over n over is hard on my hands. With void on you can hit 100 stability on this thing and it's smooth as butter. Highly recommend farming for a decent one.
Drang is so fun on controller. Paired with the full-auto weapon mod, it's amazing for pvp and pve.
Try the crucible one with surplus and multi killclip or moving target for 3v3 it feel was easier landing headshots compared to my enhanced drang not sure why on paper it shouldn't

I haven't seen anyone mention Escape Velocity compared to Multimach. EV still has 16 zoom if you get the Model 8 Red scope, whereas Multimach's max is 15 now. Iron Reach Mutlimach has an extra 3 meters of range, but much, much lower stability. Without Iron Reach, they have basically the exact same damage falloff distance. But that doesn't really matter unless you already have their max range rolls, because MM rotated out, and EV only comes from Xur and maybe Banshee (or maybe neither, I have no idea)
Basically, if you have a good Escape Velocity roll buried in your vault, go try it out
It still surprises me no one talks about Sacred Provenance. I have no idea if the 4-bursts are statistically worse than 3-bursts but Sacred Provenance just feels so good to use I haven’t put it down in like 3 seasons. You should definitely take a look at it if you read this comment, it’s worth the effort imo.
It really doesnt matter what is statistically better, it matters what you're better with. Personally I will never use lasting impression.
@@SolidGoldGuy yea I agree with you on that. Lasting impression is just so annoying to use outside of extended damage phases that I don’t care it has more damage. The extra damage doesn’t matter if the rocket explodes a second after I need it to lol

It amazes me how I always find my self keeping the ace of spades on me because even with the crafted austringer, ace just feels amazing and kind of better IMO

I do believe its time for an update on this. New sandbox. Target Lock and Rangefinder nerfs. Long season. Prophecy refresh. New mid-season weapons.

I love DMT, I have been a maiming that for quite awhile now and even after the nerf it’s still so good. For me it just feels smooth and easy to use with not too much recoil.
I would love another one of these for the final shape. Please and thank you 🙏

Another high-zoom SMG that I see getting overlooked is Escape Velocity. It has a base 14 zoom, but it gets scopes instead of barrel perks, just like Multimach. The Model 8 Red is one of my favorite sights in the game, and gives the weapon +2 zoom. It also has base 80 recoil direction, making it good with either a counterbalance mod, or running stasis with Elemental Capacitor. I have a roll with Zen Moment and Elemental Capacitor, and it slaps.
Friction fire is another decent one if you've got a good roll but it feels heavy somehow in my hands compared to other SMGs
Another one is Borrowed Time, has 15 zoom and great perks (just a pain to farm). Personally I don't like it, but it should be considered.

I feel like Forerunner is an honorable mention. Running BxR+Forerunner makes me feel like I'm playing old school halo again 😅
Performance of Crimson does not only rely in input. It's the fov. The recoil goes up to cover the reticle at high fov. On controller the reticle friction helps to still hit the shots but on mnk Crimson performs better on lower fov because the recoil will no longer hide the reticle, making the follow up shots easier to hit.

On Hunter: go radiant and Aeons w/ Sect of Vigor. When your allies die, you gain your dodge back. Basically infinite radiant for your team in 6v6 for those on your team Darwin would be proud of.

I gave huckleberry a go for a few days last week and damn. I gotta say it's probably my one of my favorite smgs for PvP now.
I never liked Huckleberry, but after watching this I pulled it out of collections to give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation, I am enjoying using it right now, already have 89 kills on it after just a few games.
A note about Huckleberry, with the mid S18/S19 change, Rampage Spec will be getting folded into Rampage as a perk, allowing the gun a little more flexibility in extended fights.
I have a Messenger with zen and elemental capacitor so with a high resilience stat on void it doesn't miss unless I miss. It's the best dueling pulse I have rn. Dropped 39 elims with it yesterday and that's good for me. Love that gun
Don't know about the Ace, it feels extremely bad, probably due to recoil animation or something like that. In comparison, Austringer has like no recoil and gives away free headshots like last word.
I feel the same way about Ace. I'd agree that it's probably the view kick. Which really bugs me, cause it's such a strong weapon, and it kills me that I don't feel like I can take advantage of it.

Im not shocked how many weapons i hate being in this list, but also a few of my fav weapons are in this list which was shocking, i am shocked however to not see syncopation on here thing is crazy stable rlly makes it easy to use on controller, heck it’s my main go to pulse for crucible and pve, it having headstone is just an added bonus

I have to agree with you on Ace, I have a ridiculous amount of pvp kills with that HC. Besides that it was the first hand can that I used consistently, it just felt that good too me!

For me suros regime and outbreak take the cake on controller. It legitimately HARD to miss with them
I don't normally use auto rifles in pvp and I don't even play pvp that much, but if I need auto rifle kills in pvp for a bounty Suros Regime is definitely my top pick.

I'am a PVE player but go into PVP once a week and I'm horrible and I don't care lol however once I stopped trying all the different guns and load outs and just settled on BXR and Chaperone for my 3 matches a week on 3 guardians I have had a lot more fun.
I knew Crimson would be in here. The most annoying gun to go against, the amount of times I need to land one more shot and my reticle goes to moon.😤

Most fun I ever have in pvp have included these weapons.
Maybe it’s just because I’ve been using high impacts and rapids for so long, but adaptive just don’t feel right for me so it’s strange seeing so many people say they’re good. Then again, I also sucks with 140s and everyone loves them so I shouldn’t be surprised
For Ace on controller i don't know, i found how can manage recoil and i done it almost bullet in bullet, but in gunfight game just doesn't count registrations no matter how you firing with delays or by 2 or 3 bullets, with others it's not so problem.

@@Rob2512053 that’s fair too, it all depends what you want to build into.. I usually prefer to build into my weapon for pvp especially something like crimson as it can drop people so easily after that lucky pants buff procs. Many a times I’ve just cleared a room full of 3-4 people because of luckys

I'm gonna leave this weird "Pro Tip" here XD, if you play on pc with a controller and have/had a ps3 and still have your Dualshock 3 collecting dust somewhere, pick him up, check the model number in the back, if the model number is CECHZC2U or the sticker in the back is silverish dude you have the immortal in your hands !, mine is 11 year old, no stick drift, the sticks are ridiculously acurate and you can use them on steam ! :D
Just remember to swap the triggers with the shoulder buttons because DS3 triggers are crap XD

Another really fun gun to use on controller is Frontiers Cry. I have a very disgusting but silly role that has 77 range and no stats anywhere else lol. I put a full auto mod on it and absolutely destroyed with it. It really fun, super easy to use and with the right role for whatever you want this gun to be, it can be absolutely disgusting.

Mentioning the 19 zoom and ease of use for piece of mind, i would put Ogma on my list. OFD gives it flinch resist at top of the mag too, and can stack with PM or Heating Up

Dude that's WHY they sunset it. The idea that you get the 180 "recoil" with a 140 fire rate and ttk is dumb, unbalanced, and it deserves the sunset. I got it in the freelance comp list, and while I was happy that I got it after all the suffering, it's like playing on easy mode and it breaks the game. It has remained in my vault for a long time. Luna's Howl/Not Forgotten is pure training wheel baby mode.

The only thing not on either list for me is Monte Carlo. I wanted it so bad when I found out about it and I used it all the time before the buff to AR's and for awhile after. Over 25k kills with it. Still break it out every once in awhile. Goes well with Caliban's.
