One recommendation you guys should use a full length L-Track on the top. This would give you the space to attach L-Track Rings to make the setup even more versatile. I am ordering one from you. But I will be installing a full length L Track on top.

I wonder if the incremental L track spacings would match up to the parallel virtical hole distances of the two drop down shelf brackets? Depends on the distance apart center to center of the two fixings. Its sometging to confirmed. I agree, two full continual lengths top and bottom. It will spread potential panel stress and give flexibity to change your external kit set up. One thing it definiteky needs is a good quality key lock to lock the drop table in the up position. Theft & tamper deterrance has not been fully cinsidered and adressed yet. And the lock mech needs to be fit for porpose and egonermoc. Not a an awkward hole to access with a rattly padlock or two on it. Still a nice product tho, looks smart

I installed your table on my Class B and love this thing. Very versatile and practical (especially for the front wheel drive Promaster). I took a different path with the installation and dropped a video on that and my thoughts on the table. Hope you guys like my review 🤙🏼

$1200 and it doesn’t come with proper hardware or the maxtrax mounts. You rely on maxtrax for rigidity. Do not install these with self tapping screws! That is a recipe for corrosion and with micro vibrations I imagine they will wear out pretty quick. Also that 3m tape is not uv resistant so it will break down and give way. It at least needs some through bolts with fender washers or riv nuts. But better yet include some rear brackets to spread the load.

Thank you for your comment. The VHB tape that we provide in the kit is UV resistant and well-suited for this application. Additionally, the self-tapping screws are optional and can be left out if you would prefer not to add any penetrations to the vehicle. We have weight tested the tables with only VHB tape up to 300 lbs. As you mentioned, through bolting is an option if you have access to the back side of the panel the table is being mounted to but this is not always the case for all customers. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about our MaxTrax table mounts and we'll be happy to help out!

stop putting shit on the sides of your van if driving for longer than a short distance. wind noise, reduction in aerodynamics, for instance, on average, a roof rack reduces your MPG by 8-15% depending on which 1 you get, (im a mechanical/aeronautical engineer). put everything on the back. or flat on the top.
