- Hello everyone! I apologize for how long it's been! As per tradition, here is a final flip-through of my (incomplete) 2023 bullet journal and an explanation for why I will no longer be continuing to bullet journal. I totally get having to switch your planner based on the season that you are in. might I suggest that if creativity strikes you later, you could always back plan using what you put in your Walmart planner and just recreating it in your bullet general. That way, you could still have pretty spreads to go look back on, even if you didn't create them in the moment.
I still plan to use my bullet journal to document notable events in my life! I like to do this for trips and special events. So I guess I intend to use bullet journalling more for memories and scrapbooking rather than planning. Thanks for watching:)
I completely understand why you decided to not continue bullet journaling. Art should bring you joy and not be a chore you have to do. I love to see you be creative and I'll always be looking forward to your videos!

I love to see you back ! I also fell out bujo-ing in 2022 because of doing a trip around the world. But I started missing it in 2023 and bought some basic supplies to scrapbook all my memories.

Bullet Journaling is meant to be a simple and minimalistic method to organize your life. You don't need all that creative stuff. It's nice though, but if you quit Journaling for not having time to set up your journal in that way, then you haven't understand the basics of the method.
Although you're probably right, I think for a lot of people bu jo ing is about creating art. It's what you get when you look it up on Pinterest or TH-cam. Beautifully decorated spreads that most likely took a lot of time to create. I'm not as familiar with the concept as you are, so I'd never have connected minimalism and bullet journalling. I think Abigail created her bullet journal more as a piece of art that also served a purpose than an item that sole purpose was to be practical. I believe that therefore continuing a bullet journal without the creative part wouldn't have made much sense for her.
Totally understand that my method is not aligned with the intention of a bullet journal. However, the reason I opted for the bullet journal is because I wanted to combine planning with creativity. If I can't fully commit creatively, then I would rather plan with a different method. Hopefully this makes sense:)
