FYI, The "Shaker" refers to the hood scoop that sticks through the hood and is attached to the engine so everytime you rev the engine the hood scoop shakes, it's a throwback to the 71 Challenger which also had a "Shaker" option, So you actually learned today Mr. Car Guru. 😊

they traded viper for the hellcat platform. Worst decision ever imo, i owned a hellcat and the SRT8 2009 the exact month they reached dealers. I loved them both but not worth the v10 viper legendary platform. Its the only American made car that I prefer over my corvettes. Dont tell me "what about McLaren" any road course/ roll racers will explain why a viper is america's GTR when it gets rolling. the handling is still a decade ahead of its time while being 10 years old. I will trade my C8Z for one with no problem. But Hellcats were something the kids could drive since 90% are automatics and heavy af so no need for to much handling skills smh. Idc how many donuts a hellcat does or corners it drift... not hard with boost and heavy boat cars. Ever see a Viper in a slideshow/takeover? hell no and thats why id trade to get one lol.
They didn’t switch platforms at one time they produced both for years on end. Also they had different purposes. Really not related or at fault for the viper going.
