Before she turned 22, Katherine had undergone more than 20 heart procedures. Her fifth open-heart surgery was a heart transplant. Since then, she ran her first 5K and got married. "I'm beyond grateful. I feel like I've been given a new life."❤️

My son passed away in 2003 he was hit by 18-wheeler logging truck. His birthday is in 2 days from now. I wish so much that I could have done this for them anybody needs a heart is so happy to help them live through Michael but he passed away instantly and he wasn't a donor he was only 13 nobody told me I could have done that for somebody but they didn't his heart wasn't beating but I am a a donor so one day I when I pass from this Earth I hope to God somebody can use the parts that are in me to help them see hear if pissibld breathe live with one if my organs. I carry So much Love for these families.

I'm always going to be a donor. I'm 50 now but if I'm not all used up when I die, I hope at least 5 people (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys) can go longer for their families. Well my liver is enlarged now but they can have the rest.
