Nicole, the light never goes out.. you’re doing a superb job in your mums absence.. keep on keeping on!
Great video as always sending the biggest hug I can send i stull miss my uncle and it's been 14 years since i lost him
Sweet Mom! I miss mine too…she was 56 when I lost her and I was 25! I’m 64 now and I still miss her every single day! 💔
Nicole, it is sad when we loose a parent especially our mum. We all regret things we would have wanted to say or do like one more cuddle or that kiss on the cheek. This lambing season has been monumental for you as you had to take over the work that was performed so amazing by your mum for years. Between the good and bad days, you have performed miracles with the help of your fiance Davie, your Dad and all your siblings to carry out the 2024 lambing season without your mum. Your family and all us here are so proud of your achievements and I bet your mum is looking down on you now, smiling with a glass of red in her hand. She taught you to be very determined and not to give up. 🎉 Chris from Victoria Australia 🇦🇺
Hugs my sweet farmer….missing your mum, she raised a good one in you.
Hello Nicola.
That is a Lovely image of your mum !
My heart goes out to you today on which is clearly an emotionally charged day!
Sending you a huge long hug!!
Keep talking about your emotions which is healthy and please keep smiling your mum is watching you with so much pride & love x
I have not lost a parent but my top 5 person I lost would be my grandfather. He was something like 77 and I was 20. The week after burying him I found out by a DNA test that I was a father, so the emotions were at all sides of the emotional scales. 12 years on I still miss him, I am sorry for your loss 💔
Happy Birthday in heaven mom!
You poor thing having to work such a hard job even when your sick!
Here’s a big hug for you. I know I’m a poor substitute for your mom but I’m a mom myself and I know what it means for my grown kids. You are one of the toughest girls. My youngest is just like you and I wish you both could meet. Remember dear your moms looking down on you and sending her love❤❤❤❤.
Watching your dogs is fabulous. Keep up the good work.
You are doing great work and you look after your livestock very well. Hope you’re feeling better soon take care.
I know it isn’t the comfort of your mums hugs but sending you mine 🤗 🤗.
First year is always very difficult stay strong she would be proud of you
Weather over here in Vermont, USA has also been horrific. On July 10, 2023 we had tremendous rain and catastrophic flooding across the state. And it happened AGAIN yesterday. Happy one year anniversary. Seven inches (18 cm) in 24 hours.
Peace on a hard day.
The first year of anniversaries is really hard. It will get easier. I still talk to my dad and grandad 25 and 23 years later respectively. And ask advice. Hang in there❤
I lost my wife 4 years ago and feel the same she looked very like your mum its bloody hard but we have got to keep going take care Rx
They say time is a great healer it’s a tribute to your mom that you feel like you do. There is nothing anyone can say or do to make it easier, unfortunately it’s a part of life you have my deepest sympathies
Feel for you 💔
No pain No gain thats what i tell my Wife. She never believes me.
When someone dies who you care for life doesn’t get easier you learn to live with it, but remember no one can take away your memories. I am sure your parents are so proud of the lass you have turned out to be, no afraid to get stuck in and do some graft. You are some lassie.

U'll have plenty of firsts. Big hug chin up it will get easier
It will be at least one full year of firsts. There's no avoiding it. It's part of the human condition once we love someone.
Every single 1 of your lambs need to be weaned it pointless to keep them draining the Ewe when she could be getting her body condition right especially when the lamb is eating would you want someone biting your nipples allday thats why they grow teeth to eat
All very fine weaning now , but it's a hard balancing act trying to counteract summer mastitis on milky ewes.
